sup. vega, right? very hard. makes you go :(. also: lots of fakemon are only postgame. also :(.

what if... not anymore?

This is a "386" hack of Vega. Everything is available before postgame. A lot of Pokémon have also been modified to make them more usable, because wow, a lot of the postgame Vega Fakemon are pretty awful. Some have new abilities from Gen IV+, and generally things are more accessible - the fire starter no longer needs to wait to evolve to get Flamethrower, for example.

Difficulty has also been addressed - the level curve is way less steep, leaders are a lot more reasonable. All that good stuff. No more gym 1 Shuckle. These are all in the documents included.

TMs are also generally more available, and there are a bunch of QoL changes like the Dept. Store selling Sun and Moon stones before postgame and the Elite 4 selling Revives and Full Restores, plus an NPC there who sells all the TMs.

Other things of note:
- HMs are less bad.
- Pokémon that got updated sprites in Procyon/Deneb received them here, too. Which is nice, because good lord, the original Infiris sprite.
- Trades are edited.
- Obedience levels have been changed so the trades are usable.
- In Seafin City, you can receive the Procyon/Deneb starter that's weak to the one you picked.
- The move relearner is free.
- Grass has been added to Junopsis City, and several locations like Perimeter Labs and the Tower of Darkness now have encounters.
- All the puzzles in the original are untouched. Sorry.
- TM19 Poison Leaf has been replaced with Drill Run, TM49 FeatherDance has been replaced with Roost, and the Dig tutor is now Superpower.

Drill Run:

Thinks a bit too much, but loves their friends. Owns an impressive amount of guillotine-themed clothing.
This is SO fun, I'm currently pre-gym 2 and it's already such a great time.

Despite loving the outdoors, the Neb Pokémon has more introverted hobbies. As a result it has a socially awkward temperament.
This is a great idea. Having the first gym leader not use a Shuckle alone makes this an improvement. I'll play this right away!

Broke his own romhack with an egg. Still not sure how.
Bit late but just finished up a nuzlocke for this. Pretty solid overall but I do have a few tiny points that might be worth looking at.

--> I'd suggest making deep yawn either an egg move valentide or just made harder to obtain, mostly because deep yawn + sub + leftovers made it virtually immortal barring absurdly bad luck with sleeping turns or an opponent using a speed boosting move on the turn it wakes up (samushrai can also do this but it has a speed stat of 86 compared to valentide's 127, I feel like there's another deep yawn/spore user with decent speed that I might be forgetting)
--> Is mirror shot physical? While training I ended up having it outdamaged by a hidden power against a neutral target (for both) and it seemed to be doing similar damage to icy kiss. (tested on a switza)
--> Almost all of the gym leader wildcards are gone but tara's bakeko is still around? I don't recall it causing any issues but it does stand out as a bit odd.

And the stats on the switza in question

A gluttonous Pokemon that claims to lord over something called "Gay Baby Jail". The meanings behind its inane ramblings have yet to be deciphered.
Hi! I know this thread hasn't been replied to in over a year, but I wanted to note that I can't seem to get this hack working on the 3DS. I've tried reinstalling the AGB file and using different save types via New Super Ultimate Injector, but to no avail. Does this hack have known issues on real hardware or is it just me/my 3DS?
I've also tried booting into it using open_agb_firm, only to get greeted with the legendary GBA Freeze Sound (loud warning).
