So I... got press-ganged into rejoining the forums because I had a cool idea. Here's that idea!

THE TOURNAMENT

The Tournament is a competition designed to figure out what the best things in the world are. It works in two phases. The first is the nomination phase; I will name a category (as well as an initial Thing within that category) to get us started, and then you people will nominate other Things in that category on a first-come, first-serve basis until we have sixteen Things.

The second phase is the tournament phase. The sixteen Things will be placed in a randomly seeded tournament bracket, and people can vote on each match-up. This will continue round by round until we name an ultimate winner. Rinse, lather, repeat. Sounds good? Let's get started with...
