Sometimes I think I know what things look like when I'm about to draw them, but then I have to look up the word "shovel" on google so maybe I don't know anything at all.

Oh, oh wow. This really gives a sense of scale for Ronas and Par. Like, Ronas is almost as tall as their trailer!! That has to be terrifying.

... or maybe not, when you live in a Pokemon world. Hard to say.

I know right!? Ronas is a big boi, and I think the sense of scale you get from this page adds to why people have such an adverse reaction to him. And yeah, there are some big pokemon, but I think for the most part they're not too big. Like, charizard canonically is 5'7" and Ronas is 6'2" so even with "big" pokemon, they can't really be compared.

This is fine. I am not at all concerned for Pavira's safety. :')

Like Ronas can hurt her more than she accidentally hurts herself.

So I'm assuming Ronas doesn't have a grasp on language yet, but it seems like he's already picking it up? He seems to get the idea from Pavira that stealing is bad, at least! That's very interesting! Does his being a psychic-type give him a boost in grasping language, or is it just the basic feelings and emotions he's gleaning from Pavira?

Yes and no. He's basically a blank slate of a person, so his brain is just rapidly recording and copying everything he sees. But yes, he is just picking up on basic cues and emotions and is reacting accordingly (though I guess it's kind of hard to get a good read on Par). No comment on whether or not it's because he's psychic.

The glowing eyes really sell Ronas as almost extraterrestrial, which I feel like is THE feel for mewtwo; and Par isn’t bothered by Ronas, which is endearing af
