The art is gorgeous but honestly, I think that's to be expected of you. You've always had an amazing eye for lighting and shading, so I'm not surprised the first page is just you immediately flexing your prowess on us.

And I found myself trying to press next since I wanted to see more! So I'm excited for moar!

Thank you! And oh god, yeah the improvement over the years has been insane. There is something really joyful about being able to look back at my old artworks nowadays. it's just interesting, to see something I created with so much excitement and joy and then make new art nowadays I feel the same way about but they're so different now. I guess 10 years just does that.​

She is the same old Jamie as before!.. Sort of! I kept a lot of the core characters from my first attempt at this comic, and their stories, but they've just grown with me a lot. Which is to say, like, an onion. Layers and all that.​

I was so particular about how I portioned out my beta reading to people to make sure nobody got everything because I wanted to make sure everyone who read it would still have something new to read. Thank you! It's been fun trying to hunt down a style I felt was both reasonable to make a comic with, but also something I felt I could enjoy for a loooooong time to come. I'm glad to have you tagging along for however long I have you.​

Hey, what can I say, I've spent some time with some people with amazing aesthetic sense over the years. And when it comes to lighting, I actually remember I spent so long in the first draft of my script FOCUSED on the lighting, and the story themes it was going to carry, so I'm a little giddy to hear praise about the lighting. Even if it didn't make it quite to the final draft as I originally scripted (when does it ever), it was a huge consideration.​

S SO so sosososososo hyped for Stardust Road and im lost for words im just so excited! I remember sseeing some of the concepts and sketches for these pages way back when and some of them even finished and the revamps on some of them jsut aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa So cannot wait to see this story hit the road.
It's been a long time coming and just know this is going to be a great one, Aaron!

How do your characters feel when they've been caught staring (intentional or otherwise)? Are they the type to get embarrassed, act like nothing happen, or even double down?

Cass would be embarrassed and look away, scratch the back of his neck and probably make an excuse to leave.
Echo would probably act like nothing happened and look away at something in the general vicinity. Maybe even get up and walk near the person to look at something mundane as if that's what he was looking at the entire time. Depends on his level of embarrassment and need for damage control.
Lotus would hundo just keep staring and probably smile or show teeth cause she gets off on making people uncomfy.
Scant probably would look away, hide and apologize jsdhgksjhge
