Jay is the weakest link... But Jay's brothers would have just find their way off their team since there isn't really anything in it for them.

*When I saw Hop standing here I thought it meant a rival fight was coming up, so I trained everyone up. It turns out he just wanted to talk, so this Gloria rival fight shows you how it felt.
*In the pokemon world, people would freak out if you said one of your pokemon died. Pokemon dying in battle is extremely rare, to the point that you have to be extremely risky and reckless for someone to die(or run into an evil team, and there's none in galar). Even if Sundae's still alive, Corrin causally bringing up that he died is not going to go down well with most people.
*When two friends are fighting, and not rivals, I don't see them going that hard on eachother. And when your dealing with anarchists, good luck telling them they have to faint their friend to get exp.

I keep on forgetting that spit up exists. tho only a few mons learn it and it's usually never worth it anywayI started up another comic. While making the lore around Corrin Koopa I ended up making a lot of other super smash bros lore to. To the point I felt like I needed to make an ask blog to get it out. It's Ask Crazy Hand, and takes place in the same universe as Questionable Influence. In concept, I find stockpile, spit up and swallow quite interesting. In practice spit up at full power is a 75 base power normal type move and swallow removes your defense buffs when something like recover wouldn't. I've always wanted to try out those moves, but they're never worth using when most of the pokemon who have them have better options available such as rest, or a STAB move.
She is, she truly is.
How many nuts do you wager on this battle, because all of mine goes to Ava. And yeah, someone actually thinking spit up is a viable strategy is ew.
Lizzie the sweet bean for the win! But pretending to care about your pokemon is a total good guy thing. Villians are honest when they don't give two licks about somebody's life, or at least they do by Corrin logic.
Author's notes:
*The move stockpile has always interested me. It's three every specific moves for a specific strategy, yet no one uses them. Granted stock pile can only get you up to +3 defenses, spit up is a base 75 power move with all the set up it takes, and rest is just a better version of swallow, not to mention spit up and swallow takes up 2-3 of your pokemon's move slots, and you lose the stockpile boosts after using them.
*I thought it would be interesting if the rival had mostly the same team. It also has great potential for foils, with Icarus's seriousness and lack of hope for our main characters being contrasted by Lizzie's joyful personality and hope that the team can change for the better. Ava's natural strength and self confidence being contrasted by Chestnut's lack of a spine and still being in training. And don't get me started on Ren.

Hey I really like the rival mons interacting with Corrin's team. Sort of gives off Power Puff Girls vs Rowdy Ruff Boys vibes kind of, which is super fun! Also Corrin showing a good guy moment not wanting to wake Yuuya up!

I finally finished reading this nuzlocke. I didn't think the idea would work, but this shortly became one of my faves. I didn't even realise they hadn't reached Milo yet, it's just that endearing. This comic is very cute and sincere. And I may be biased, but I like how you skipped over SwSh's boring plot! Keep up the good work!

Thank you!!! I'm glad I could pull this crazy idea off! I figured that people would've seen SwiSh's plot a thousand times by the time they read my comic, so I might as well change it up. It's crazy that some nuzlocke comics finish up in the amount of pages QI takes to get to the first gym, but I'm glad that I could keep you engaged with the 200 detours this team takes.
It time to play guess how much self preservation Jay has!

*Ren's my favorite member of Gloria's team. He is a massive toxic jerk, but he's interesting to write. I redid the lines part of the fight scene since Ren was just holding Jay to the ground for a very long time. It wasn't brutal enough for the beat-Jay-until-just-before-serious-injury vibe I was going for.
*Remember back on page 15 when Corrin trained up Yuuya by holding Rookidees in place. The consequences of their actions has come back to fight them.
