Hello, Happy New Year!
Today I'll be uploading my third attempt at an Idolocke run, this time in Pokemon Sacred Gold. I also have seen it is hard to make your run actually something people are interested though.
Anyways, before I start, my inspiration for how different this run from the previous two...
Aside from Love Live! School Idol Festival, I also gained interest in playing another related rhythm game in the mobile (Android) platform, called BanG Dream! Girls Band Party, or shortened as Bandori. It is actually pretty good to say aside from it's high system requirements and that the game can overheat your phone easily if you play it for continous amounts of time. I was quite of a newbie for it at first, but then I kept getting better and better at the game. So good that i can actually Full Combo one of the hardest songs in that game, "Guren no Yumiya", on EXPERT difficulty. I haven't reachieved that and since my phone sometimes have problems, that might not be possibly doable for me again for now. Unless i get a new android phone or an iPhone.
On the other hand. The Nuzlocke variant, Idolocke, which is introduced by ErynCerise, isn't too much of a popular thing. Most people here or in the Nuzlocke communiy forums are probably not good with knowing any of the characters from rhythm games or these games themselves. Don't worry though, there have been several Idolocke runs (but none of them have been officially finished aside from ErynCerise's own run.
Anyways. Time to explain the rules and get started.
1. As per Traditional Nuzlocke rules...
1A. If a Pokemon faints it can never be used again, must be permaboxed. (Usually the term to describe this as death, but for this nuzlocke variant run i feel it goes too dark. I'd refer to this as "Disabled", and refer to victims of such as "Casualities".)
1B. Only one Pokemon per individual area (not specifically limited to routes, mind you). Also, specific areas with multiple parts will be handled specifically, they might or might not fall to Pinwheel Clause, if they are two parts with significantly different encounters they will be treated as seperate. I must try to get to catch on the first legimate encounter... or else, if it faints. (In case of running away, i will ignore it, since wild Abra or Ralts or anything with Teleport can be prety scrappy and want to screw up with encounters.)
1C. Everyone has their names, even your companions too. (Nickname rule)
2. The specific recruitment rules are following listed:
2A. Well, as Eryn probably said it, only females allowed.
2B. Dupes clause is in effect and will have a limit of 5 tries. Gender clause limit isn't implied since sometimes i just have bad RNG and keep running into males all the time. (Or Genderless.)
2C. Unlike Eryn, I wouldn't agree with the gift clause having to be elgible by gender in only one try. To make it up, I can receive a Gift Pokemon as long as it can (and will) be a Female, although the diffuclty of the song i will play will scale to the gender ratio. Normal for 1 male : 1 female or 1 male : 3 females, Hard for 3 males : 1 female, Expert for 7 males : 1 female (though the middle one is probably unlikely to happen, it is most likely to be the latter with some exceptions being in the former.) Static encounters are also treated like this. Gift and Static Encounter Pokemon are meant to be available to the player more easily, anyways! This self-made variation clause reduces the luck factor and focuses more on rhythm gaming skill factor, which is at least more fair for me EDIT: I decided that I just need some real challenge in Live Shows. All gift encounters are considered as Expert difficulty.
2D. Legendaries: None of them, unless female. Even so, the only ones would be available are Latias, Heatran and Cresselia, none of them are necessarily overpowered. Exceptions are in below...
2E. Shiny Clause! If I encounter a shiny then i must go catch it! Gender clauses and Dupe clauses will go off the rails for once. However, unlike the original rules since I'm using a shiny boosted version of the hack i must still play an audition song for it. Fair game anyways since if i didn't, i would definitely get a lot of free members... it also offsets the somewhat high difficulty of in-game in the hack.
3. Who said you could get one for free in this world? Every catch you get must be tested in the musical test of auditions. Pass it and you keep it. Fail, and you lose it.
3A. The rhythm game used for this will be BanG Dream! Girls Band Party as above. No Energy Boost or Note Boost skills allowed. Max energy bt default is always 1000, so it is fair game to use higher rarity cards if they are pure scorers or conditional scorers. As long as Energy or Note boost or any similar effects are not included in their skills. The songs have to be played in Free Live mode (the single-player mode). EDIT: "Special" Difficulty now counts as Expert.
3B. The song's difficulty for wild encounters will be Normal for regular Poke Balls and Premier Balls (I treat Premier Balls as an effect of buy 10 get 1 free), Hard for Great Ball and most non-orthodox Pokeballs (except for Dusk Ball, also Timer Ball is fair since you need to take so long for it to achieve it's max possible catch rate and you might either finish the encounter before this or you will keep struggling otherwise, which i see it as a desperation case), and Expert for Ultra Ball, Dusk Ball (because, well, Dusk Balls are too overpowered for catching wise because the condition is simple, Night time or in caves. Even if it doesn't help for other conditions, i would still consider it too broken for it's 3.5x catch rate modifier, which is almost twice Ultra Ball's catch rate modifier!), and of course Master Ball (for that, i will delegate a high level Expert song).
3C. Scoring for judgment for passing and getting an encounter properly is based on Energy remaining and Max Combo. I feel like it can sometimes be difficult to get past specific parts of a song and easily break your combo with a Good on a middle part but not getting any Bad or Miss on any other parts of the song. The scoring will take 50% of energy score and 50% of combo score. Energy score is based on remaining energy at the end of the song, divided by 10. Combo score is based on percentage of the combo achieved. And then half of the Energy score and half of Combo score will be added together for the chance (and rounded up to the next single digit), and the roll is using a d100. Roll lower than or the same as the required number and it is considered a success. (Ignore the scoring if the song is cleared with a Full Combo, which is anguarenteed 100% chance of being accepted in to the team, or if the Live Show is failed, which means you must permabox instantly) This might be complicated, but I can use the calculator to calculate it.
3D. My phone and I might have problems. If for some reason the audition process must be interrupted to something important, or my phone lags too much as if it wants to force me to fail, or it have problems with the touch screen, i can retry the song.
4. Members are obligatory to stay together in groups of three known as "Units". Well, the active main members at least.
4A. There can be only up to three active units and the rest will sit on a waiting room until they get their chance. Also, since we cannot carry more than 6 in actual game (obligatory Pokemon rules, sic) one unit functions as a "reserve unit".
4B. A fan rule i made myself, to make the runs more interesting because it might get boring to keep the same members all the time in case, after each checkpoint (gym, also counts for Victory Road which is before the League and also before climbing Mt. Silver), you can choose any of the 9 members to temporarily remove them from main units, and place them back in the waiting room. Then a random number will pick randomly which member from the waiting room to join in.
4C. Should a member of the unit fall in battle, the other members must fight in their place, to suffer the same fate or to emerge victorious.
4D. Once there is a vacant slot due to a member being defeated in battle, they will be replaced by a member in the waiting room if possible, and will be randomly picked in the same way as rule 4B (due to the randomizing factor as well.)
4E. Units must have names too. I will focus my creativity on here.
4F. For Double Battles, use two members of the same unit. If you're down to one member on an unit but another unit is available, then you can make an exception here. You cannot switch either member, however.
5. The challenge must go on until you exhaust your entire musician cast or complete the challenge (I will be going through both Johto and Kanto unlike ErynCerise who only completed the Jotho section.)
5A. However you lose in Elite Four, Lance or Red, then game over. Period.
5B. The encounter rules will be properly in effect once you have the Poke Balls. Losing the first rival battle is also forgiven. (The gift Eevee still gets treatmens from the gift pokemon clauses though)
5C. Most importantly, have fun and preserve the spirit of the Nuzlocke (variant).

EDIT: I have finally created a self-made banner for this run! Here it is:
RE: EDIT: I also made a group-chat side story! This serves as a more comical relief style character interaction and focuses on using characters that otherwise seem to have little relevance in the main story! Here is the link to the supplementary fiction

First of all, since this Nuzlocke story is going to be loosely based off the Sengoku Jidai period, expect for Japanese aspects in the story.
This includes calling others with honorifics (like, "-san", "-chan", ...), or various other Japanese traditions.
Second thing, there are things that might not make sense in Sengoku era based works. Such as magic or more modern firearms, etc. Don't worry! I think most of the works in the similar theme tend to deviate a little bit from the theme.
Third, I will rewrite (retcon) some of the character backstories, to make sense. Be expected for what I'm writing and please respect.
Last but not least: Don't forget or hestiate to reply because this will help the run to be narrated better because I am not someone really great at telling stories. I'm Indonesian, not Japanese
Have fun!
There was once a region where Pokemon thrived.
Residents of the region use those magical creatures to battle each another.
However, this is not the same in an alternate universe, alternate timeline...
Where these creatures do not exist physically.
Various people from the other realms were summoned instead.
They're the "Musical Warriors". And this is where our story begins...

"Yes! BanG Dream!" by Poppin' Party (short version)
English Lyrics:

Let's fly away! Knock on the door to tomorrow, Unleash the strongest song!
In the name of BanG Dream! (BanG Dream!) Yes! BanG Dream! (BanG Dream!)

If you find a piece of star when you are walking by, I'm sure (I'm sure), I can (I can), meet you some day
Looking out the windows from a classroom, clouds are blazing, I'm sure (I'm sure), I can (I can), see a sunny sky... SHINE!
I believe in a dream that I can achieve someday, My heart throbs with excitement, Just a mental feeling only known to me
I keep on waiting for you to step on, My heart throbs with excitement
Catch up! (My wish!) Jump out! (Your wish!) Fly high! Take courage... (5, 4, 3 2 1! BanG Dream! Let's go! 5, 4, 3 2 1! BanG Dream!)

Let's fly, knock on the door to tomorrow, Unleash the strongest song!
Let me hear your true voice, A melody to evoke a dream where you and I meet
In the name of BanG Dream! (BanG Dream!) Yes! BanG Dream! (BanG Dream!)

Today, Nakano Hikaru (note: Hikaru is his given name. Due to an edit to stress out ono the usage of Japanese order for names, expect the given name to be always in the back of the surname.) was getting out of his bed somewhat late, because he overslept. He was getting ready for something important, because the local professor of Johto, Dr. Utsugi have an errand for him!
So he decided to pack things out. His mother helped him getting stuff prepared and he waved off into adventure, including a pair of Running Shoes, a Pokegear, a retro music player of some sort and a Bicycle.
When he first stepped outside of his home today, he bumped to a 'friend' of his neighbor and childhood friend, Kotone Saitou, who greeted him and played with a while before being called out by Kotone herself.
Hikaru then went out to Dr. Utsugi's labotary, where the professor himself - who was, notably much younger than the old professor of Kanto, Dr. Okido Yukinari, greeted him.
"Good evening, Hikaru! Well, seems like you overslept, but..." He was interrupted by a call. "A call from the Old Hermit, huh? Hikaru, well, if you had someone to help and protect you, i would send you out there, but..."
Another interruption happened as the door sounds are opened. "Oh!" was all Hikaru simply said as he moved foward and looked the other way. A girl in her late teens with light grey hair and light blue eyes just came in.
"Ohayousoro!" (That is a portmanteau of "Ohayo", which is Hello, and "Yousoro"/"Yosoro" which translates to "Aye-Aye!") She said. "So i heard someone was looking for help here?"
"Y-yeah! But who are you? I never have met a girl since long time aside from my neighbour..." Hikaru asked, nervously.
"The name's Watanabe You! I'm a sailor who just moved here after docking a small boat!"
"Umm, I have a question... can you go with me?" The boy asked.
"Of course! Zensoku Zenshin!" ("Full speed ahead!")

A few moments later, the two went off from Wakaba Town's district, after Hikaru greeted Kotone, to move past Route 29 towards the local province capital of Yoshino City.
When they arrived, they are greeted by an elder man who gives them tour around the small city. However, the old man moves so fast as if he was running. After a bit of tour, the two of them went further through Route 30.
"So this is where you need to get to the house you're going to?" You, the girl who is accompanying Hikaru, asked.
"Yeah, this is where that 'Old Hermit' lives. Let's make haste through."
As soon as they move past through a house, they're stopped by a door opening sound from the house they went past. "Wait! How could you so be oblivious to the house of the Apricorn Man! ...ahem. Do you know Apricorns? They are valuable, so make sure you pick up them from Apricorn Trees like the one next to my house. Here, use this Apricorn Box to hold those Apricorns. I know you would have a talent to become an Apricorn collector!"
A few moments later, they arrived at Old Hermit's house.
Before they could get in, there was a figure. A middle-adged woman was waiting.
"Hello. So do you have something to do here? Oh... so you need to come to the Old Hermit's house. Let me tell you some story though... long time ago, a young conqueror fought his way to victory and domination, gathering a large army of variety of Warriors. He brought in everyone who he trusted to conquer all of the provinces... and he disappeared. Anyways, my name is Lady Shirone, from the Sinnoh region. Your name is Hikaru, is it?"
"Yeah, that is right, do you have something else?" Hikaru replied. Shirone responded with, "I found someone who could probably help you out later in your adventures. Just keep in mind you'll need to impress first them in a performance before you can get their services. Well, why you don't try to practice out with this one?"
Shirone moved out of the way to reveal a girl with brown hair and eyes - presumably younger than the other girl he was with.
(Song: Yes! BanG Dream! - Expert - Result: Full Combo!)
"Hello! You look pretty promising to be a leader... please let me join in with you!" The brown haired girl said. Hikaru nodded, "Sure. My name's Hikaru Nakano, what's your name?" She replied, "My name is Hazawa Tsugumi, simply known as Tsugu! Nice to meet you!"

After that they entered the house.
"Hello! Dr. Utsugi have sent me here to look for your house!" Hikaru said. The older man replied, "Welcome, Hikaru! You must be coming here on behalf of Dr. Utsugi's errand? Well, i found a discovery about this relic, so can you bring it to him? I'm counting on you. Oh, by the way, this is..." He pointed to another old man who seems more familiar for Hikaru.
"My name is Dr. Okido. Pleased to met you, young Hikaru. Oh, are you carrying with two of those young Warriors? You must been on a special errand from Dr. Utsugi after all. This won't be the last time we might meet... so let's exchange numbers on the Pokegear!"

After they leave the house... suddenly a call straight from the Pokegear:
[Dr. Utsugi: Oh no! Hikaru! Something happened near the lab! Come here, quickly! (...click!)]
"What the? Okay, you two, let's quickly get back to Wakaba Town now!"

At Yoshino City's gates before reaching towards Route 29.
"Tsugu, can you stay back out from this for a while? But stay on guard. You-san, keep me on guard from the front, there might be someone supicious." Hikaru asked. Both of them responeded with, "You can count on us, Hikaru-san!"
After a while, a red haired young man of about Hikaru's age came in with someone else.
"So you are a new Warlord, huh? You don't seem so strong at all. But I got a Warrior that will serve me faithfully. Let me teach you a hard lesson that power is everything for position of control!" The man said.
His Warrior said, "Yes, just please don't over-abuse my powers..."
Hikaru said out, "He's challenging us to a battle! You-san, move ahead and strike the other Warlord's Warrior at their weak point!"
"Got it! Yousoro!" ("Aye Aye!"). The sailor prepared and charged foward with her tachi (Japanese long sword), clashing with her opponent's katana (Japanese sword).
She managed to lamd the first strike, but the green armor-clad opponent struck a powerful blow on You. "Ouch! I just have started yet!" She retaliated with some rapid slashes, while her opponent is trying to parry her attacks. The silver-haired Warrior herself got tired and a little hurt.
"Are you okay?" Tsugumi asked out. "I'm fine! I still can do this!" You returned her respond back, as she grips her tachi and points foward as she leaps to attack.
Eventually, she struck the other Warrior right on the chest. "I'm sorry... We must withdraw!"
The red-haired Warlord said, "Not bad, I guess, but enjoy your small victory for now. Do you really need to know who I am? I am going to be the greatest warlord and conquer the world! ... huh?" He realized his identity was leaked by the Warrior he talked to. "Oh, dang... he knows my name now!" He went off back.

Later, on Dr. Utsugi's Labotary.
A man who is a personal bodyguard of Dr. Utsugi was on patrol guarding the lab, seeing the incident has happened.
"Stop right there. We're investigating for a kidnapping case here. Are you the one who did it?" He pointed to Hikaru.
"No! Hikaru didn't do it! I saw someone with a red hair was doing something and planning, and was spying on the lab!" A feminine voice came out shouting. It was Kotone!
"Kotone-chan, thank goodness you came in time!" Hikaru said.
"Oh. So you saw this red haired man too? Who is he?" The bodyguard asked them both.
Hikaru responded with, "I heard, his name is... Tsuchida... Tsubaki?" The bodyguard then replied. "I see... I will find out if this man ever returns back. He'll pay for it." The bodyguard leaves out of the area in pursuit of someone.
"Hikaru-chan, don't worry so much, they don't really actually think you would do ever something like that." Kotone asked.
Hikaru responded, "Thanks... but let's get a bit of rest now, should we?"

The next day. On morning time
"Hikaru-chan! Come this way to Route 29! You can find some free unemployed Warriors here, but make sure you don't try to get too greedy. You should also be careful because your Warriors can get wounded and will be unable to battle!" Kotone said, calling out to Hikaru.
"See you then Kotone-chan!" Hikaru responded out. Hikaru's group walked out to Route 29.
"I wonder who is waiting out for us here?" Tsugumi asked.
"Me too! This will be probably be exciting!" You (actual name, mind you) responded energetically.

"Did someone just said exciting?" A voice can be heard.
A female figure with an... unique hair shape of buns and brown-colored hair with purple eyes leaped out of bushes out.
"I would like to join you for a sparkling and heart pounding adventure! Oh, but please show me what you got!"
(Song: Tokimeki Experience! - Normal - Result: Full Combo!)
"It is great day to make up some new allies! Hey, what is your name?" Hikaru asked.
"I'm Toyama Kasumi! Nice to meet you, uh..." The ninja girl paused, waiting for a reply.
"Hikaru Nakano, but you can call me Hikaru for simply." Hikaru said out.
"Ah! Nice to meet you Hikaru-chan!" Kasumi shouted out excitedly. "Come on, let's go!"
"It is time we get more allies before we can conquer the world!" Hikaru said. "Follow my lead!"

And so they started in a journey for a conquest. What will lie ahead in time for them? To be continued...
"Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiteru kai?" ("Is Your Heart Shining?") by Aqours (short version)
English Lyrics:

Right now... We want, to try changing the future! After all, we've only just started to notice our dreams

For a trigger, anything will do, so... Let's search for excitement together (Heave-ho! Excitement, Alright!)
If it's something you truly wish for, Try proving that you can make it come true

Where can someone as small and insignificant as myself end up flying to? And I keep telling myself, "I don't know, I just don't know!"
(We'll make it somehow...) Ah! Let's start!

Is your heart shining? If you can hear your heart, then answer "Yes!!"
I wonder if this encounter will be able to change everyone? The sun is shining on our dreams today as well

(Oh yes, Heart-pounding Sunshine Oh yes, Heart-pounding Sunshine)

Right now... We might, have started to change our future! That's right, we've only just started to notice our dreams!
Hello! Ryan here! So the first story episode of Poke Band Party! Is out! Also, happy birthday to Tsugumi Hazawa on 7th January!
Anyways, this is my first time trying to narrate how some of the characters will act, so don't get too much on me now! I am just getting started!
Anyways, yes, as you can see in the story, there is going to be a lot of Japanese stuff. However, i have made some Japanese catchphrases (like You Watanabe's catchphrase) translated to English (too along with Kotone (Lyra).
Regarding the rival name, Tsubaki is the name of the rival in a Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver manga called Pocket Monsters HGSS Jo's Big Adventure. This is probably the only alternative name i can find for Silver.
Also, i am not sure what i would have a redepiction of Mr. Pokemon for more japanese style and the lack of Pokemon, so I refered to him as the Old Hermit.
Other than these characters, here are the Japanese name references:
Dr. Utsugi = Professor Elm
Dr. Yukinari Okido = Professor Samuel Oak
Shirone = Cynthia

Adventure status:
Unit 1 - Stargazers - Watanabe You (Totodile) Lv 5, Hazawa Tsugumi (Eevee) Lv 5, Toyama Kasumi (Starly) Lv 3
Unit 2 - Empty
Unit 3 - Empty
Backup Army - None
Casualities - None

This reads a lot like an idol anime, and it's really cute and peppy! Kasumi is such a cute character, so hopefully she can stick around and keep things shining bright and popping. Good luck with the Full Combos, as well! I never could FC Guren, but I think HHP had the most fun covers.

First of all: Headnotes, with the reply to the sole post that isn't totally made by me.
To the sole reply from @trainergloria , thank you for your compliment! Also, "HHP"? I think you might meant "HHW" - the abbreviation for "Hello, Happy World!" - one of the bands in BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! .
Also I'm trying to work out with how to figure out what would a character say. For most of the characters I'm taking, I will try to get them to act as close as possible to their canonical personalities. For example, the aftermentioned Kasumi is a lively girl who seems to be always on high spirits - in other words, energetic and cheerful.
Also to save time for lots of recruitments or grinding, and unimportant battles, they will be fast-fowarded and omitted at all. (Unless one of my characters get KOed by a non-boss opponent.) )(And by boss, i mean, as in boss battles - this includes the rival, Gym Leaders (due to the nature of this nuzlocke story, they're mentioned as "Daimyo"s - Province leaders or Warlords, simply), Team Rocket's Executives (Rocket Bandit Gang's Leaders), Elite Four & Champion (The Four Guardians and The Shogun).
Just being simply said, I don't want to exhaust myself trying to write everything. I'll also try to picture the personality of the characters too (although for some cases, I might alter them a bit)
One last note! Guys, remember that replies in form of complements, critics, or fan-art or suggestions are highly appreciated. Thank you so much!
For fan-art reference for how you want to draw my characters, most of the canonical Pokemon characters should have similar artwork but in feudal Japan style. For Hikaru, his design is similar to the default vanilla Johto male protagonist character - but his colors are white and yellow instead of black and yellow. (The yellow colors should be flipped with the white colors that replace the black ones.)
And for Hikaru's employed Warriors (which is, all of the characters that are not canon wise, they should have similar appearance to the original characters, but their outfit design should be more of Feudal Japanese style. Their outfit colors should match either their image color (if they have any that is different from the Pokemon's color) and/or the color of the Pokemon that represented them in-game.
So have fun!

EDIT: I have editted all characters with two names to have their given name last and surname first, just like traditional Japanese!
Previously on Prologue (Chapter 0)...
The new Warlord, Hikaru, met up with his first Warrior who'll accompany him, Watanabe You, who wears a light-blue plate armor and wields a modernized Tachi, battles a red-haired young man who is also another Warlord and soon-to-be his rival with his accompanying Warrior, and meets up with two other Warriors: Hazawa Tsugumi, a peasant soldier wearing a yellow garment covered under her chainmail, who seems ordinary at first but is capable of using a Tanegashima (Japanese Matchlock - a kind of arquebus firearm) - and Toyama Kasumi, a young, energetic but rowdy and loud ninja (a mercenary who works silently - much like spies in modern day) wearing a red and gray ninja garment who is rather enthusiastic to go on an adventure who uses her unique five-pointed star-shaped shuriken (a type of throwing weapon used by ninjas).

"So what do we do first, Lord Hikaru-san?" Tsugumi asked the young Warlord about where they would go next.
"We should try heading back to Route 30 first normally since it is part of the road to the City of Kikyo, but since we will need to assemble an army if we want to conquer, so why not trying to get moving through some nearby places around? And maybe you can practice up for actual battles."
"That sounds like a great idea!" Kasumi quickly said out excitedly.
They took a while of practicing on Route 29. Few moments later.
"Okay, let's head to Route 30 and find someone." Hikaru ordered the group to march foward. They were stopped by another youth.
"Oh, you look weak. Time for battle! Prepare to be defeated by me, Goro!" A boy said out. He seems to be armed with a Wakizashi (Japanese short sword), charging ahead.
"Oh, dang! Tsugu-chan, hold his attacks and take him out! We cannot just simply lose so early!" Hikaru quickly shouted while panicking.
"On it!" Tsugumi tried to fire her firearm right out at the young Warrior but he quickly avoided. He almost reached out Tsugumi, who quickly evaded the slash. After moments of close calls, Tsugumi managed to get a clear shot right out.
"I should've known you and your Warrior are strong..." Goro said. "I work for myself for now, but can I get your phone call or something? I'll promise I won't bother with you without warning again." Hikaru sighed a bit and said, "Sure."
A few moments later, the group would search out for new recruits in Route 30, Route 31 and Route 46, as well as one of the buildings in Kikyo City, the Dark Cave and the middle floor of Madatsubomi Tower.

[Songs played in recruitments:]
(Route 30 - Weedle - Kamiya Nao) - BLACK SHOUT (Normal) - Full Combo

"Well, new recruits, time to introduce yourselves." Hikaru said sternly, then pointing to the young woman with chesnut-colored ponytail hair with her irises being red, and wears a yellow-and-purple mail armor as well as carrying a Yari (Japanese spear). "Starting with you."
The new recruit that Hikaru pointed at said, "My name is Kamiya Nao. I-It's not like I want to work for someone who simply just come out to find me!"
Next up is another recruit with similar hair color, except her hair isn't tied in a ponytail and her irises are turquoise, while she wears a blue-and-gray plate armor and holds a Kanabo (Japanese war mace) in both hands, pointing down. "Hello, My name is Tada Riina, I'm going to do my best to rock out the world and conquer it with you! How do you like it?"
She is followed by a deep-dark haired girl with some sort of cat ear accessories - unlike Kasumi's, they're actually real cat ears. She wears a red Hakama (traditional Japanese clothing), and is also wearing white gloves that resemble cat paws.("The name's Maekawa Miku! I love cats and will do my best to serve you, nya!"
The next one is another brunette with a quite long hair and yellow eyes. She wears a yellow and green Hakama and is holding a Bo (Japanese staff, of the long variety). "I'm Kunikida Hanamaru, and I'm quite a bookworm who wants to find out more about the world, zura."
To the side is a young woman with a long cyan hair and serious looking green eyes. She wears a dark blue garment covered with a brigadine chestplate, with a turqoise-colored Yumi (Japanese bow, about the length of European longbows) held by both of her hands sideways, with a bow-stand on her back loaded with Ya (Japanese arrows), and a Wakizashi on her belt, at the left. "My name is Hikawa Sayo. Pleased to make your acquaintance, and hopefully all of us will try our best and put our effort into it."
The last one is a blonde-haired woman with similarly colored irises, who wears a deep red Kimono (Japanese robe-like traditional outfit) with white flower motifs on them, as well as carrying a pair of Tessen (Japanese fan, designed for use in warfare). "Hi! My name is Miyamoto Frederica. I'm quite of a part foreigner, specifically French from my mum! But she forgotten to speak French so i couldn't speak it normally! Isn't that actually interesting?"
"Thank you all for your introductions. I should try to assign you all into three units of three each." Hikaru spoke out, dismissing the group.

Later that night.
Hikaru said out. "I think the fort of Kikyo is closed for now. Why don't we practice more? The Madatsubomi Tower are home to some monks who are also honing their skills and are testing visitors who want to train up there. There's an elder monk also who could help us out.
"That should be a good idea, Hikaru-san -... Excuse me, but do you have a surname?" Sayo is about to finish responding but quickly shifts it to a question.
"Uh, My surname? Are you going to address me as Nakano-"
"Yes. Nakano-san, specifically. That would be actually be a good idea to train out at the tower there." Sayo quickly finished out speaking, saying what Hikaru expects out of it.
"It's interesting there is a tower there... How tall is it?" Hanamaru asked. Nao responded. "Huh. Apparent measures, there is a 100-foot tall pillar there." Hanamaru seems to have a change in her expression, soon becoming somewhat excited. "Wow! Mirai zura! (Mirai means Future. Transcripted English for Hanamaru Kunikida's catchphrase is "It's the future, zura!")
"Are the monks really some serious challenge to deal with?" Riina asked. Miku said out, "Yep, they don't completely hold back, nya!"
Frederica thought something. "How do we take turns training up there? That way we would get stronger together."
"Sounds good! It's probably a good idea so that none of us will fall in upcoming battles." Tsugumi remarked. "Do you agree, Kasumi-chan?" Kasumi replied out with, "Yeah! It would be exciting!"
You looked at her other fellow comrades and said. "Then so it is! Let's go there and break some legs! I mean, get used to battling. Yousoro! ("Aye Aye!")

(By the way, I actually did trained Nao K. earlier and she evolved quickly. Weedle -> Kakuna -> Beedrill. All of my team is about level 10 as of now)
To be continued in the next chapter, where the now greatly-increased in size group seeks approval from the elder in the 100-feet tall tower so they can start their conquest in Kikyo City. See you there!

Hi guys! This chapter was pretty interesting for myself because I don't want to bother with most of the less important stuff in-game and want to focus more on introducing the new recruits.
So first out, here are some mentions I have to specify first for justifying how does each character acts.
Kamiya Nao is a Tsundere, of course. It would be expected for Tsunderes to make some sort of "It's not like X" quote thing or something like that. I don't really know much of her personality depth aside from just being secretly an anime Otaku (Japanese word equivalent to geek) yet she denies the possibility of being considered cute. Her family members bought her boyish clothes so she also technically is also considered a tomboy too.
Next up, for Tada Riina, she's a wannabe rock star in canon franchise wise who doesn't really have the actual knowledge and experience of so. (It kinda fits with her being assigned to a high defense Rock-type Pokemon, somewhat literally) She shifted though to combine both the elements of a rock star and an idol - which explains, she seems tomboyish but not to the most tomboyish ones, which even Riina would look still girlish compared to them. Other than that i think that's her personality said at best.
The next one is Maekawa Miku, the contrast and foil to the above: She's love cats and pretty much does cosplay as one, even using the verbal tic of "nya" . Well, if I would get to straight she is really feminine. Ironically she doesnt like cat food. (I wouldn't say that she is the only one though to act like this, I swear...) She definitely contrasts with Riina. Bonus points since they are in the same unit not only in this series but also for THE [email protected] Cinderella Girls (despite the fact they just keep bickering with each another.) She's also the one who seems to love getting into rivalries. (Her represented Pokemon - Shinx - well represents this because one if it's canonical abilities is Rivalry, as well as it being a cat-based Pokemon. Yeesh.)
As for Kunikida Hanamaru, she's... quirky. But overall a hardworker and somewhat of a bookworm (loves reading books of course), uses the verbal tic "Zura" (which is apparently unique to her) and her catchphrase, "Mirai zura!" (or in english versions, "Its the future, zura!") is what she says when she discovers interesting things. She's also one of my favorite characters from Love Live! Franchise (originally i didn't have a specific one, much like in BanG Dream where in that franchise too I also grew to like Tsugumi Hazawa).
Next one... is really interesting. Hikawa Sayo is a no-nonsense type character who is serious and cold, especially to her twin sister (we will discuss this later possibly!) who seems to get ahead of her every single time. She's of course is the type of a hardworker, who won't stop trying to get to her best. Another unique thing from Sayo is that she probably calls everyone with their last names (except for her twin sister, again, see what i posted before) and anyone without known surnames, as well as anyone who has a sibling (if they're the not the first one she knows). She's not definitely far different though since there are really many occasions when otherwise aloof characters can break out of their usual habits.
Anyways, the last new one is Miyamoto Frederica. Who is part French. (And before you ask that, yes, there were foreigners in Sengoku period in Japan, like those who brought religion and firearms to Japan. I won't discuss much about that once since more can be found on the internet.) And she is really somewhat odd and weird in her mindset. Other than that, hmm... Not so much. (I'm honestly most characters in The [email protected] Cinderella Girls are only mostly remarkable for a single trait at worst, but trust me there will be a lot of more interesting characters later)

Anyways, there is a lot of explanation for Japanese locations but I tried to show what would be them in English and Japanese. As for the Sengoku theme era, the conquest thing isn't really like Sengoku thing. I honestly think considering the other theme for this series, I have to make it somewhat lighter. The 'conquest' is more of anyone's game that is set off by the Shogun, which would more fit in theme with Pokemon series in general. Apologizes if I'm terrible in trying to explain Japanese stuff because I don't speak Japanese at all.

Man, is it just hard to try to describe things well? Anyways, since we're near into a gym battle of some sorts...
Previously on Chapter 1...
Hikaru brought her army with the new recruits: the Tsundere spear-woman Nao, the warclub-wielding vanguard Riina, the cat-style brawler Miku, the priestess Hanamaru, the serious, cold archer Sayo, and the token elegant user of war-fans, Frederica.
They seek to prepare to approach the temple in the tower, which is full of monks, before preparing to storm the Fortress of Kikyo.

"Tokimeki Experience!" by Poppin' Party (video is full version, actual song in-series is in short version)
English Lyrics:
In the sky I prayed to, a lone shooting star – Carrying happiness and miracles, It announced a new beginning

(Ha! ... Ha! ... Ha! ... Ha!)
I change into my uniform, and dash out of my room, The star I saw last night twinkles, tickling my eyelids

My song! I whistle it, giving a slight glance / Stand by! Is it about time for me to begin?

(Yes!) Youth and music! / (Believe) A tale of friendship! /(Dreams) Sincerity and passion!
(Come) Gather it all up / (True!) Together! A beautiful experience... (is about to begin!)

Let it fly! Let it reverberate! Run out to tomorrow, (We’ve almost reached) the place where our promises wait!
Grant your wishes! Let them reach out! Fill that moment of belief / With happiness and miracles!
It'll be a breathtaking experience (experience!) Seeking tomorrow’s stage!

Hanamaru gathered up along with the rest of the troops with Hikaru. She promptly said, "So, are we ready to go, zura?"
Sayo quickly replied as soon as she is hearing this. "We're definitely ready, Kunkikida-san."
"Yeah. Let's get moving on already. Remember to return back to the local medical centre when needed."

The group later fought some monks and defeated them, yet sparing these monks for reason of honor.
Later on, they managed to reach the top floor of the tower, and saw a red-haired guy and an elderly man.
"Isn't that...?" Hikaru spotted the redhead being familiar. "Be quiet."
The elder spoke to the redhead. "You and your retainers have proved your strength. Here, take this. But please keep in mind that unnecessary violence will lead into self-destruction. War cannot be unjust. You should treat your retainers better as well."
The red-haired boy just grunted. "Elder Kousei is weaker than I thought. This seems to be a waste of time... I'd go and subdue all of the Daimyos and become the Shogun myself!" He then pulls out something - an escape scroll, and uses it, only for a cloud of fog to shroud him, leaving nothing after it dissipates.
The Elder then saw another group coming.
"Good evening, young fellows. How nice of you to come here. Let me - and my apprentices, some of those who are potential heirs to myself - test your skills and abilities!"
"Sure, bring it on!" Hikaru replied out.
Hikaru assigned the first unit, consisting of Kasumi, Tsugumi and You (not pronoun but name). The battle took out about a few minutes, as Kasumi throws out a five-pointed Shuriken out at one of the warrior-monks, knocking him down. Another one seem to about to charge at her, but as soon as possible, You quickly dragged her out of the way and put a melee fight until she bashed the hilt of her blade, knocking another one. Another one is preparing to use nature magic but Kasumi quickly drags her out of the way, and takes out the nature magic caster. The last one was a user of psychic power which the brunette ninja with hair buns didn't hesitate to take out.
"Your battle prowess is unmatched and highly appreciated. I also noticed one of you seemed to be in need of help. Here, take this with you." The Elder handed out what seemed to be a yellow stone. "Please bring this to her, who needs this", as the elder pointed to Tsugumi.
"Me?" The brunette said in her naivety as she looked to Hikaru, then the stone. Hikaru slowly takes the stone and gives it to her.
Suddenly, the stone glows and emits a bright light, that nearly blinds everyone temporarily. When the light faded, there was a dust cloud of ash coming out from the ground near Tsugumi, who looks... different. She's now has a small black cape to the back of her yellow shirt beneath the chainmail breastplate armor, and she holds a firearm that looks different but seemingly much better than what she previously used.
"Is this...?" She said confusedly, inspecting around. Kasumi stared and was in awe. "Whoa! Tsugu, you look awesome!"
"Well done, Hazawa-san." Sayo replied soon afterwards. Tsugumi looked at them both and said, "Thank you! I'll do my best for all of you from now on!"

Later on, they returned from the tower to stop at the base of Fort of Kikyo, after some training.
Much like Tsugumi, during this training Kasumi has somewhat changed in appearance too, as she seems to have a red-colored partial ninja hood that doesn't cover her hair buns, and the pink-colored belt.
"Okay, so I have a plan. But I'm going to keep it a surprise..." Hikaru said. "Just follow my lead. We have a chance for victory." The third unit responded to him.
"Your plan seems supicious. But we will trust you, Nakano-san." Sayo was the first one to comment through.
"Yeah. He won't simply risk any of us directly, zura." Hanamaru followed up for response.
"Just be careful with your strategy, okay?" Frederica finished it off.
"Yeah. Anyways, you got the information about the opposing force?" Hikaru asked the second unit.
"A troop that can use heights and the skies as their advantage." Nao quickly responded. "According to group report with Miku-san and Riina-san, their leader is the local Daimyo, Lord Hayato."
Hikaru nodded. "Then I guess my plan is straightfoward. Good luck with you three. I know the three of you can do it."
"Leave this to us!" You responded, with Kasumi and Tsugumi aside with her.

Early morning on the next day...
A young man who is just slightly, barely older than Hikaru stands out from the Fort of Kikyo.
"So, you've come to challenge me to battle. I'm-" He was quickly interrupted and responded by Hikaru. "Lord Hayato. If that's your name."
"My father has trusted me with an army with superior knowledge of height advantage and I will show you exactly how powerful are them. Do you still wish to challenge me?" Hayato's voice was quite deep.
Hikaru paused for a while. "I do not simply rely with a force that just focuses on a specific quailty. You're the one who will be seeing why soon. Now, march into battle!"

BOSS BATTLE - VS Daimyo of Kikyo - Lord Hayato
"Scarlet Sky" by Afterglow (In-game MV, short version)
English Lyrics:

As if it was already a given, We were connected so near each other, We never thought that it was lacking
In this predetermined narrow box, Even if you struggle and bump into it, The fact that I was helplessness / was something I began to understand...

I kept it inside my mind / Because I didn't want to make you sad
It just, I wanted to see your smiling face (So much), Wearing my uniform for battle
Recklessly, we'll head towards the classroom / Believe that the door can be thrown open, onward!

The twilight sky that day, The illuminating light was a burning scarlet,
Because this sky connects us / Always, even if we're separated
In this place that we can call our own, let's meet up here no matter what
These feeling we want to shout out, towards this red sunset...
You was the first one to charge out, bringing her sword to face out with a spear-wielding soldier. She tries to not lose at a battle of strength.
However, the soldier quickly struck her from behind after avoiding and leaping several attacks, from a raised platform.
"Oh, darn! I thought I could handle this!" She quickly spoke out.
"Well, they're taking advantage of the heights but I'll show them that my skills will sparkle!" Kasumi stepped in quickly to throw a shuriken right at one of the warriors, taking him out.
"That was only one of my higher-ranked soldiers. Now you'll show the true power of the Kikyo Clan's mightiest!" Hayato shouted as another warrior, this time with a shortsword quickly swiped at Kasumi before she even could notice.
"Wha- that's not fair!" The weirdly-haired ninja complained. She tried to match out the speed against this opponent. She managed to take the enemy down too, but not without exhausting herself.
"Now, Hikaru. Do you still not understand the true power of tactical advantage?" Hayato spoke out a threat to Hikaru.
"...I've learned these tricks before... And I am also about to unleash my secret weapon. Behold!" Hikaru spoke out.
Just then, an arquebusier from Hikaru's own side quickly stepped in to drag out the tired ninja out of the battlefield.
"You're right, Hikaru-chan! This is an opportunity we cannot waste for a surprise attack!" The arquebusier, Tsugumi, spoke out.
"Tsugu-chan is the most skilled long-range Warrior I've got! Now time for the show off!" Hikaru pointed, as Tsugumi quickly shot down another spear-wielding soldier charging at her direction.
"N-no way!" Hayato gasped as another of his elite troops, a ninja, was somehow shot. "I still have one more trick above my sleeves!"
Another ninja quickly attempted to swipe out and strike Tsugumi from above, but she somehow quickly leaped forward before it even happened, and she turned around."
"I have promised that I will do my best for everyone with me!" The arquebusier exclaimed before she shot down her last target with an electric bullet.
"A-as expected... an arquebusier with lightning-infused gun..." The defeated Daimyo says, kneels down. "Even though my father have entrusted me with his specially trained troops... But you're quite the smart tactician just like how good is your courage and leadership. With this the Fort of Kikyo is yours now. Farewell, we might meet again." (Insert Song #1 should ended by now)

"We did it, Hikaru-chan!" Tsugumi says out cheerfully. Hikaru replies, "All because you gave your hardest work for us. We have won this battle, but there are still more areas to conquer."

And so, the team have managed to conquer the first area of Johto region, the Kikyo area... but the long journey has yet to begin!
To be continued...
"Yume Katari yori Yume Utaou" ("Rather Than Talking About Our Dreams, Let's Sing Them") by Aqours (short version)
English Lyrics:

We steadily go outside and search for something else
When you try something out, you’ll often find unexpected happiness

No matter the worries or the ridicules, We won’t lose, we won't be discouraged, even though we might cry a little
But it’s alright, because tomorrow will come soon

Rather than words speaking of our dreams, let’s put them into song /Because if we do that, we’ll be able to put our feelings right now into words
A song speaking of our dreams will be born from our words
These feelings that are spreading / Are links to the melodies that we love
It’s time to stop running, and move forward, to a new place

(Singing my song for my dream!)
Hello guys! Ryan here. First up, I think i'm too much onto trying to plan out for story... And yes, i might have some things I need to apologize on. But anyways, focusing on the main topic here.
As always, I'm not the best one to rely on to make stories, as i have to focus on making somewhat interesting plots and battles while maintaining in-character personalities for the Warriors themselves.
I am also planning to make the run more anime-like with adding Opening, Insert and Ending songs (they will be taken from rhythm game franchises too just like the characters.)
So if you do have lots of opinions about my run, please don't be afraid to send them in a reply. Honestly. Even if you don't get most of the run, it's probably be better to try to learn something new and ask questions in a healthy curiosity, right?
Also, fun fact, yes I know and found out that Tsugumi is astraphobic or in other words, afraid of thunder, and it's ironic to evolve her to be able to use the element of thunder itself. But again, alternate universe works are basically "What if?" all the time, technically.
On the other note. Pronouncing "You" (the name) seems confusing to me just like many others. There are some alternative spellings that refers to her given name as "Yo" but due to the former being more preferable spelling... Well, I'll take it.
Anyways, as probably I would explain there will be a mechanic where I will swap out team members later after every checkpoints. Stay tuned!

EDIT: I am going to include Opening, Insert and Ending songs for the first time for the series! Well, if you don't quite understand this, it's basically what I think Anime shows are often hyped of. Some even have supposedly amazing intro or ending songs to say. Opening songs are at the start, Insert songs occasionally during the main heat of the story, and the Ending songs at the end of an episode.
Also, I will include a guide to Warriors that are encountered on the protagonist's side, including their character personalities, what they are in this fiction, and their "Soul Elements" (basically the equivalent of types), and some of their side information too as well. The CV (Character voice) will be based on Japanese voice actresses filling for the role in-franchise.
And finally, i'll open a Character AMA! You can ask either Hikaru or any of the Warriors recruited with him (those extend to: Watanabe You, Hazawa "Tsugu" Tsugumi, Toyama Kasumi, Kamiya Nao, Tada Riina, Maekawa Miku, Kunikida "Maru" Hanamaru, Hikawa Sayo and Miyamoto Frederica.) Remember that if for a question you do not specify a character, I'll answer the question with a randomly selected character. Also you can try to mention two or more characters and they will try to answer together (with a bit of running gag of their relationship if the two characters are related because of being in the same franchise or if I am able to work it out for them), or separately.

RE: EDIT: Included character stats! The character's stats displays their performance in battle. The six stats are: Health (HP), Power (Attack), Armor (Defense), Magic (Special Attack), Resistance (Special Defense) and Speed. All these stats can be rated from 1 to 10 stars (★), with of course, the more stars the higher the stat. All stats are rated on their final evolutions (for branched ones, the intended evolutions.)
RE: RE: EDIT: Darn do I have to do it? It might be confusing if I'm not specifying which Pokemons are the characters in my actual game, so I'll add them. Keep in mind the evolutions are just planned evolutions and might not be actually achieved due to the character being wounded in a battle and becomes no longer usable for the rest of the Nuzlocke run.

She later came back to offer her services as a companying Warrior. She fights using a slightly curved sword of average length. Her Soul Element is Aquan. She somewhat gets along with fellow hardworker Sayo Hikawa. Here, she is born to a family of peasants, but then she wanted to decide to help out and prove her worth. She is skilled with using an arquebus. Her Soul Element was originally Neutral, but due to a "transformation" her current Soul Element is Lightning. Due to this, she somehow easily make friends and gets alone with everyone regardless of their personality. She is somewhat naive to weird topics in discussion, but she is able to match in wavelengths with others who think of unusual things like her. However, Kasumi is quite forgetful at times. She is especially close with Arisa Ichigaya, and sees Yukina Minato and Aya Maruyama as her seniors, and is childhood friends with Hagumi Kitazawa. Rumours were said that she used to be somewhat introvert and a little bit shy in the past. Despite this, she's quite an easily overexcited ninja who isn't good at stealth, but is by no means bad at combat. She uses an iconic five-pointed shuriken, and her Soul Element is a hybrid of Neutral and Aer. (CV: Terakawa Aimi, Birthday: July 14, Zodiac: Cancer) (In-game Pokemon: Starly -> Staravia -> Staraptor)
Stats: Health: ★★★★★ - Power: ★★★★★★★★ - Armor: ★★★★★ - Magic: ★★★ - Resistance: ★★★★ - Speed: ★★★★★★★

Kamiya Nao - The Temperamental Nerd
A young woman with a somewhat aloof behavior, occasionally being temperamental due to her nature of being easily embarrassed for things that she secretly likes. She's somewhat have a hard time to spit out things that she is actually interested in, including cute and feminine outfits. She's very close with Rin Shibuya and Karen Hojo. Here, she's one of the older recruits with a somewhat of an experience of battle beforehand, and she uses a spear as her weapon of choice. Her Soul Element is Insectoid/Venom hybrid. (CV: Matsui Eriko, Birthday: September 16, Zodiac: Virgo) (In-game Pokemon: Weedle -> Kakuna -> Beedrill)
Stats: Health: ★★★★ - Power: ★★★★★★★ - Armor: ★★★ - Magic: ★★ - Resistance: ★★★★★★ - Speed: ★★★★★★★

Tada Riina - The Rock-hard Youth
A wannabe rock idol with an interest on rock genre and a deep love for the culture. She however doesn't have quite the musical knowledge, but her commitment for her ideal figure that she wants to be is so strong. Because of this, she seems to evoke tomboyish image of personality-wise, but later on she got herself into a somewhat more cute-looking appearance. She gets into arguements with Miku Maekawa quite often. She's a heavily-armored warrior armed with a mace, who has a quite head-strong and protective will for others. Unsurprisingly, her Soul Element is a hybrid of Terran and Petran. (CV: Aoki Ruriko, Birthday: June 30, Zodiac: Cancer) (In-game Pokemon: Geodude -> Graveler -> Golem)
Stats: Health: ★★★★★ - Power: ★★★★★★★★ - Armor: ★★★★★★★★ - Magic: ★★★ - Resistance: ★★★★ - Speed: ★★

Maekawa Miku - The Cute Kitty
A girl with a deep love of cats to the point that she is often wearing cat ears and acts like a cat girl! She even takes it to the point of using the verbal tic "Nya" (or occasionally, "Meow"), and she wouldn't take it well if asked to stop using that verbal tic. She loves acting cute, too, but strangely she dislikes fish. She often bickers with Riina Tada. Here, she's skilled in hand-to-hand combat, or seemingly so, since she seems to wear gloves that look like cat paws. Her Soul Element is Thunder, with hidden depths of Umbrae. (CV: Takamori Natsumi, Birthday: February 22, Zodiac: Pisces) (In-game Pokemon: Shinx -> Luxio -> Luxray)
Stats: Health: ★★★★★ - Power: ★★★★★★★★ - Armor: ★★★★★ - Magic: ★★★★★★ - Resistance: ★★★★★ - Speed: ★★★★★

Kunikida "Maru" Hanamaru (also known as Zuramaru) - The Traditional Priestess
A youth who loves books and is fascinated by technology and new discoveries due to being raised in a temple without very many modern conveniences. She also loves eating... a lot. Due to her unique Shizuoka accent, she refers to herself as "Maru" (although occasionally she doesn't), uses "Zura" as her unique verbal tic. As mentioned above, she is easily interested in technology, to the point of developing her own catchphrase, "Mirai Zura!" (Translation: "It's the future, Zura!"). She also sometimes act awkwardly, too. She is the childhood friend of Ruby Kurosawa. Her role in-series is of a temple priestess, with a long staff for self-defense and also for casting magic. Her Soul Element is Floran/Venom hybrid. (CV: Takatsuki Kanako, Birthday: March 4, Zodiac: Pisces) (In-game Pokemon: Bulbasaur -> Ivysaur -> Venusaur)
Stats: Health: ★★★★★ - Power: ★★★★★ - Armor: ★★★★★ - Magic: ★★★★★★ - Resistance: ★★★★★★ - Speed: ★★★★★

Hikawa Sayo - The Serious, Devoted Archer
A young woman with a serious, cold and aloof impression of being a perfectionist. She is somewhat stubborn and determined to reach to the best with her hardworking, discipline attitude, and is brutally honest down to the earth. She notably has a tendency of calling everyone who's surnames she knows by their surnames, with exceptions to her own twin sister, the latter-known siblings of those who she already knows earlier, and even on occasions, those who are the closest to her. Speaking of relationships, she's envious to her own twin sister Hina Hikawa who is so talented that she is like a prodigy. On the other hand, she somehow gets along well with Tsugumi Hazawa who tries to work hard like her. She's also a quite talented as an archer, in which she takes to her advantage, using a bow and arrows as her primary weapon, although she has no problems using a sword as well. Her Soul Element is a dual hybrid of Venom/Aer. (CV: Kudou Haruka, Birthday: March 20, Zodiac: Pisces) (In-game Pokemon: Zubat -> Golbat -> Crobat)
Stats: Health: ★★★★★ - Power: ★★★★★ - Armor: ★★★★★ - Magic: ★★★★ - Resistance: ★★★★★ - Speed: ★★★★★★★★★★

Miyamoto Frederica - The Partial-Foreigner Fashionata
A young woman of a mixed French and Japanese birth whose mother, which is of French origin, unfortunately somehow forgets how to speak French. She is somewhat energetic, care-free, and silly, and has a love for fashion. Due to her care-free attitude, she doesn't take things too seriously. She is good friends with Shiki Ichinose. She seems to be quite surprisingly able to make use of war-fans as her weapons. Her Soul Element is, surprisingly, Neutral. (CV: Takano Asami, Birthday: February 14, Zodiac: Aquarius) (In-game Pokemon: Glameow -> Purugly)
Stats: Health: ★★★★★ - Power: ★★★★★ - Armor: ★★★★ - Magic: ★★★★ - Resistance: ★★★ - Speed: ★★★★★★★★★

Although I do not have any replies yet and other runs are probably updating I should probably update with my own explanation for the story lore about something i posted at my (author's) notes from the last post. Heehee... (laughs nervously). And as I said in the previous post's notes, there are Ending songs too for Intermissions... just they will be one-shot and be different from the main. And there is no Opening song for it.

That evening, Hikaru and all of his subordinates gathered up in their own base, the Fort of
"Hikaru-chan, I'm still somewhat surprised by what happened before. Why did my arquebus emmited out electricity during that battle?"" Tsugumi asked Hikaru while tapping his left shoulder.
Hikaru "Well, there are 18 Soul Elements known. Here is a list of these Soul Elements..."

Neutral - The Soul Element of the ordinary or normality - those without particularly any other affinity are most likely to have this. Despite that, contrary to the belief, Neutral can be a part of a hybrid with other Soul Elements, with most of them being hybrid with Aer. Neutral is the second-most common Soul Element, behind Aquan, although when counting hybrids as seperate from pure single Soul Elements, Neutrals are the most common. Because of their ordinary style of battling, Neutral attacks hardly affect Petrans or Metalics, and is unable to affect Phantoms. Neutrals are also vulnerable to Vigor attacks. However, being Neutral does have an advantage: not only they are versatile enough to occasionally use attacks infused with other Soul Elements, but they are also immune to Phantom attacks as well.

Aer - The Soul Element of wind and skies. While normally most other Warriors stay grounded on their feet, those with the Soul Element of Aer are able to manipulate gravity around themselves, allowing them to hover or float - something that only other few abnormalities that are not of Aer Soul Element are able to achieve. Because of this, they are unaffected by Terran-infused attacks, and are able to avoid ground-based hazards as well as resists Vigor, Floran, and Insectoid attacks, as well as their attacks are strong against these Soul Elements. However, they're weak against Lightning, Petran and Frost attacks. Their attacks are also resisted by Lightning, Petran and Metalic Soul Elements. Also, their levitating power can be disabled by a few type of attacks. Interestingly, so far all known Warriors with the Aer Soul Element are all hybrids with the Aer as their secondary Soul Element, and they are fairly common.

Flame - The Soul Element of fire and heat. These Warriors with this Soul Element are natural with heat and are naturally immune to burning, and of course they resist their own attacks. They are also strong against Floran, Insectoid, Frost, and Metalic, in terms of offense and defense. However, outside of their own Soul Element their attacks are resisted by Draconics, Petrans, and Aquans, in addition to being vulnerable to their attacks (except for Draconic) as well as Terran attacks. They're naturally the antithesis of the Aquan Soul Element, which they are weak against. Flames tend to employ offensive strategies.

Aquan - The Soul Element of water and seas. The Soul Element itself gives the Warriors the ability to cross through water bodies as well as being like in their natural home in them. Due to the large amounts of water itself in the world, it is unsurprising that Aquan is the most common Soul Element, although a large majority of them are hybrids much like Neutrals. Much like Flame, Aquans also resists their own attacks. They're vulnerable to Lightning and Floran attacks, but resists Flame, Frost, and Metalic attacks. Their attacks are powerful against Flames, Terrans and Petrans but are not so effective against Draconics and Florans. Interestingly, Aquans in general are known to use Frost attacks to cover their own weaknesses, and Aquans also have some versatility that are comparable to Neutrals.

Floran - The Soul Element plants and nature. While there are few Florans that are actually strong in combat, a majority of them are able to make use of indirect attacks that can cause various side effects. Unfortunately, on the Soul Element matchups they are on the rough side. They resist their own attacks, but it should be noted they are weak to: Flame, Aer, Insectoid, Frost and even Venom, which these types in addition to Draconic and Metalic also resists their attacks. However, their attacks are strong against Petran, Terran and Aquan elements, the latter two are also resisted by them, in addition to Lightning attacks. Florans are quite common - although nowhere as extremely common as Neutral and Aquan Soul Elements.

Lightning - The Soul Element of thunder and electricity. Their lightning powers are able to cause paralysis. Lightning Soul Elements are however are rare, and Hybrids of this Soul Element are even possibly rarer. Their only sole weakness is against Terrans, which are also immune to their own attacks. Lightning attacks however are particularly strong against Aer and Aquan - two of the more common Soul Elements. However, Florans are somewhat resistant to their attacks. As for Soul Elements whose attacks are resisted by Lightning, those are Aer, Metalic and Lightning itself. Several other Warriors of different Soul Elements can also use Lightning attacks too.

Frost - The Soul Element of ice and cold. They can manipulate cold and influence the air around them, and can cause hailstorms, which themselves are immune to. Their attacks can also freeze others, rendering them helpless, except for other Frosts, which resists their own attacks. Sadly, their defenses are tend to be weak against Flame, Vigor, Petran and Metalic attacks. Their attacks are as well resisted by Flame, Aquan and Metalic as well. Their icy attacks, however, are notably strong against Aers, Florans, Terrans, and most importantly, Draconics. Frosts are amongst the rarest Soul Elements.

Vigor - The Soul Element of strength and martial arts. While it is often depicted Warriors with this Soul Element can use their raw body strength to deliver powerful blows from their hands and feet, they can actually infuse strength into any weapons they use. Speaking of their combat abilities, they're the only Soul Element whose attacks are very effective against Neutrals, in addition to Frost, Petran, Metalic and Umbrae. Their attacks however have no impact against Phantoms and little impact on Aer, Insectoid, Venom, Psionic and Fae attacks - as well as being vulnerable to these types save for Insectoid, which they also actually resist in addition to Umbrae and Petran, and Venom, which contrary to some beliefs, does not have increased effectiveness against Vigor. They are commonly regarded as the brawns to Psionic's brains.

Insectoid - The Soul Element of bugs and insects. A quite common Soul Element type that usually allow for quickly reaching maximum potential, although said potential is limited in comparison to others. Their attacks are resisted by: Flame, Aer, Vigor, Venom, Phantom, Metalic and Fae. On the other side, Florans, Psionics and Umbraes are vulnerable to their attacks. Their defenses are terrible against Flame, Aer and Petran attacks but Floran, Terran and even Vigor attacks have a trouble dealing damage against them. Interestingly, Insectoid and Vigor are the only Soul Elements that resist each another aside from several of the Soul Elements that resists itself. While they are not overly common, they are still far from being even uncommon.

Venom - The Soul Element of poison and diseases. The Soul Element type itself is associated with poisons, unsurprisingly. Due to their unique compositions, Venoms are immune to poisoning itself as well as able to inflict them to other Soul Element types with the exception of Metalic, which are also completely immune to their attacks. Their attacks only hit Florans and Faes powerfully, while their attacks are resisted by each another as well as Terran, Petrans and Phantoms, although these three are not immune to poisoning. Venoms also resists Vigor, Insectoid, Floran and Fae attacks but are vulnerable to Terran and Psionic attacks. Notably, Venoms can often set up toxic spikes, and also can remove them, unless they are airborne. Venoms were amongst the most abdunant Soul Elements in the past.

Terran - The Soul Element of earth and land. Close to the ground itself, this Soul Element is most powerful against Lightnings as not their attacks are more powerful against them, Terrans can also nullify Lightning-infused attacks. Despite that, contrary to belief they are not immune to paralysis from other Soul Elements. Their attacks are also strong against Flame, Venom, Petran and Metalic, but are of course unable to affect Aers due to them able to hover easily, and are less effective against Florans and Insectoids. They are vulnerable to Floran, Aquan and Frost attacks but are resistant to Venom and Petran attacks. They also are unhurt by sandstorms, and makes synergy with Petrans and Metalics.

Petran - The Soul Element of rocks and stones... duh. Not only they are not damaged by sandstorms, they also have better defenses against non-direct attacks under sandstorms. Vigors, Terrans and Metalics are strong against them in offense and defense, in addition to Floran and Aquan attacks being more effective against them. They're however are tough enough to resist Neutral, Venom, Flame and Aer, the latter two which are also vulnerable to their attacks in addition to Insectoids and Frosts. Oddly, they make good synergy with Terrans.

Metalic - The Soul Element of, uh, all type of metals and armor. They are naturally the toughest Soul Element, as they are immune to poisoning and therefore Venom attacks, and are resistant against almost anything but Aquans, Lightnings, Phantoms and Umbrae, and are actually weak against Flame, Vigor and Terran in terms of defense. Their attacks, on the other hand, have little effect against Lightnings, Aquans, Flames and themselves, but they are strong against Frosts, Petrans and Fae. Metalics are infamously known for having the best armor in general, making them very durable against direct attacks. They are also immune to being hurt by sandstorms, and works well with Terrans. Metalics are so rare that they are only seen in hybrid composites with other Soul Elements.

Psionic - The Soul Element of mind and mental. In old times, Psionics were so feared that they were thought to be the most powerful Soul Element type... but those were in the past. Warriors associated with these Soul Elements have psychic powers and are able to communicate with telepathy with anyone else - even non-Psionics. Generally, they are quite smart or crafty. Their attacks are strong against Vigors and Venoms, the former whose attacks are also resisted by Psionics aside from themselves. Psionic attacks, as mentioned before, are resisted by themselves and Metalics, but it should be noted that Umbrae are actually immune to such attacks, as well as being strong against them. Psionics are also vulnerable to Insectoid and Phantom-based attacks. It should be noted that Psionics also have tendency of using indirect attacks as well as being tough against them in general. Psionics are the counterparts to Vigors.

Phantom - The Soul Element of spirits and otherworldly stuff... This Soul Element is notably not only immune to Neutral attacks, but also Vigor based attacks. They cannot hit Neutrals with their own attacks generally, though. Aside from them, their attacks are strong against Psionics and other Phantoms, surprisingly, one of the two Soul Elements that actually do this, the other being Draconic. They are vulnerable to other Phantoms of course, as well as Umbrae, but Insectoids and Venoms hardly affect them with their attacks. Phantoms are generally attributed with mysterious occurrences. Sometimes they are known to be communicating with the dead, or even turn invisible themselves. However they are amongst the rarest Soul Elements.

Umbrae - The Soul Element of darkness and pragmatic tactics. Despite what they would be believed to, not all of them have darkness-based powers, and most of them instead rely on pragmatic strategies and tricks. They're surprisingly amazing against Psionics that cannot hit them and are also vulnerable to their attacks, as well as Phantoms who are vulnerable to them. But Umbrae are notably weak against Insectoid, Vigor and Fae-based attacks, in addition to those three, except Insectoids, also resist their attacks. Umbraes also resist their own attacks due to being used with pragmatic style of combat. They are, however, uncommon.

Draconic - The Soul Element of dragons, of course. Blessed by the dragons which are their ancestors and inheriting their power, they are often generally considered the most powerful - and of course, the are amongs the most rare types of Soul Elements, to the point that Pure Draconics are said to be nearly non-existent. Only Faes are immune to their own attacks and are strong against them - and even so, Metalics only barely resist their attacks. Draconics are also resistant to Flame, Aquan, Floran and Lightning attacks. But they are also vulnerable to Frosts and... themselves. Yes, Draconic attacks are only strong against their own Soul Element, a trait only shared by the Phantoms. Very few Draconics actually are seen and they are very powerful in general.

Fae - The Soul Element of fairies, somewhat associated with light. They tend to have really great defense against non-direct attacks. And they are unique in that they are unaffected by Draconic attacks. They also are resistant against Insectoids, Vigors and Umbrae, but are vulnerable to Venoms and Metalics. Although it is not known if there are any example of Fae attacks, they are theoritically powerful against Draconics, Umbrae and Vigors, while Flames, Venoms and Metalics resist them. Fae is one of the most elusive and rare amongst Soul Elements known.

"It should be important to be considerate about Soul Elements. I have took notes of this." Sayo responded after Hikaru have finished explaining.
"Oh! Ooh! Can you tell us the Soul Elements amongst those who are here? Please?" Kasumi pleaded to Hikaru.
"Well, as per other Warlords, yes, I can." Hikaru said. "Let's see... You-san's Soul Element is Aquan, Tsugu's was supposed to be Neutral... but since that incident, I cannot say it is true anymore - her Soul Element is now Lightning. Kasumi is a hybrid of Neutral and Aer... Nao-san is a hybrid of Insectoid and Venom, Riina-san is a Terran/Petran hybrid, Miku-chan is for now, pure Lightning, although i would suspect she might also have Umbrae as her secondary Soul Element. Hanamaru is Floran-Venom hybrid, Hikawa-san - ahem, Sayo-san is part Venom and part Aer, and Frederica is pure Neutral."
"Thank you for the explanation of Soul Elements. Would you be reminded to remember to check about new people who you meet?" You asked with her hand leaning on the table.
"Sure thing. I can sense Soul Elements of the new Warriors, including those of which I will recruit. But for now, let's take a bit of rest for later..."

The 'Soul Elements' you're talking about just gave me the idea to put in PokéHarmonSouls to a series I'm working on! It won't affect anything, luckily, but I can at least determine the type of PokéHarmonSoul the protags will have based on their Starter Pokémon! I'm the only exception because there's something special about me.

Examples:

Luster Dawn
Befriended Starter: Kenekins the Female Fennekin
PokéHarmonSoul: Fire

Galaxy Swirls
Befriended Starter: Koppy the Shiny Popplio
PokéHarmonSoul: Water

Li'l Cheese
Befriended Starters: Kotone the Female Rowlet and Anna the Female Togedemaru
PokéHarmonSoul: Grass/Electric

Hi hi! Chapter 3, let's go! But first:
Okay, ehehe, it has been kind of difficult to plan out this but I'm going with describing and introducing characters for everyone, as much as I can.
I'm not getting any AMA questions yet, so I'll plan to put it to the background. If there is anyone wants to actually as a question not to me directly but one of the characters presented in this story, then go ahead and specfically post that you'd ask a question to a specific character. It'll be my own work and challenge to figure out what to respond with if I were that character that has been mentioned and asked a question.
Also, because the majority (even if it is, very small) voted on Japanese name orders, starting now all characters (those who have surnames, anwyays) will now be referred with the surname first and given name last when referred to in full name. For example, "Nakano" (Surname), followed by "Hikaru" (Given Name). I will still refer characters using their given name by default though
Also! Thanks @Abigail that should be quite a fun idea to do :) So good luck with the "Magical Pokemon Quest" that you're working on!
Anyways, this is gonna go downhill for the story... but there are still storms that are even worse to cross by.
But always remember, things can always go back good again!

Previously on Chapter 2...
The heroes, after managing to prove their worth to the elder in the tower, and after a "transformation" that makes one of the Warriors more powerful and gained Lightning-element powers, managed to defeat Lord Hayato, the Daimyo of Kikyo (note: Forgot to translate what this means earlier. Daimyo means feudal lord, which is basically this fiction's equivalents of Gym leaders), who led the army of Aer-elemental elite Warriors that his father entrusted him.

Continuing straight from Chapter 2...
"Oh? Hikaru-san, Is that something buzzing near you?" Hikaru was startled when he heard this from Frederica.
He quickly opened his bag and reached for the phone-like Pokegear.
"Oh yeah, there was a call. Hang on... Is this Dr. Utsugi?" Hikaru spoke in what seems to be a phone call from his Pokegear.
[Dr. Utsugi: Hikaru? I called an assistant of mine to give something important to you. The assistant should be waiting at the nearest store in Kikyo City!]
[Click!...] Hikaru paused for a while, before saying out. "...already?"
"What is it, zura?" Hanamaru asked curiously. Hikaru then calmly responds with, "Something that he researches. I will tell you more later."

Hikaru walked in and entered at the local market in the city they were already in.
The professor's assistant greeted him. "Good afternoon! Hikaru, this is something from Dr. Utsugi, please keep it." He handed something.
"Isn't this what I brought to the Professor earlier? Anyways, thanks." Hikaru then cleared his throat and said, "Actually. Does the professor actually thought about this?"
The assistant replied to him. "Yeah, he just couldn't find anyone else to trust about the usage of this relic other than you. Consider that a gift."

Sometime later. Hikaru returned back. "He brought back this. This is something that I brought from THAT person to the Professor. I think You-san and Tsugu should probably know what is this."
You took time to think about what she can guess of the function of the relic. "Is this something that might be so important for you?"
Tsugumi however quickly noticed something on the relic. "Hikaru-san, there are some strange glyphs and a strange button on it."
"What does this button is doing in the relic...?" Hikaru couldn't resist his curiousity to press it. Besides, who wouldn't? He quickly pressed.
As soon as he pressed the button... everything goes white. The relic emmited a bright that is so light, it nearly blinded everyone nearby. When the light faded out... seems everything is back as usual.
"Huh? Nothing happened!" The young lord complained. Tsugumi looks surprised. "I thought it would be useful for something! Did you do something wrong with it? Like, not reading the pr-"
Footsteps can be heard. Apparently someone was shouting. "YAHOOOO! I'm here! Happy! Lucky! Smile! Yay!"
"That voice...!" Kasumi felt like this noise was something familiar to her.
"Do you know something about... her?" Hikaru, who looks simply confused without much explanation, asked out.
"Hello... HAPPY WORLD! My name is Kokoro Tsurumaki and I will bring smiles to the world!" A voice can be heard from to the right, revealing a blonde-haired girl with eyes as yellow as her hair is, and of course, the innocent smile that is so sweet that it seems attractive.
"What did I just got myself onto...?" Hikaru looks confused. "Anyways, you just seem so... glamorous. I want to know if you are exactly like what they say!" (Song: Orchestra of Smiles! - Expert - Result: Full Combo!)
"Egao no Orchestra!" ("Orchestra of Smiles!") by Hello, Happy World!
English Lyrics (edited the in English, just don't judge how I translate it):

It's breathtaking, and amazing! Get excited! Let's begin this orchestra!

Holding my left hand, In your right hand / is a shining shooting star / So, let's start running!
My right hand is being held, By your left hand
It is sparkling and glittering, So, we can make a circle of smiles!

(It's shiny, It's shiny) Clap your hands
(It's sparkly, It's sparkly) To the rhythm of the stars
(Shiny and sparkly, shiny and sparkly) The color of our bonds and the Earth / Are the same!

The hands we are holding together (Hi Hi!) / Are connecting us with each other (Hii! Hi!)
To become a huge circle (Woah Woah Woah!)
Make your face (Happy Happy!) / Bloom into a smile (Happy Happy!)
Let's create a world / Where everyone is together (Smile! Smile!)
It's a festival!

"Okay! You're accepted, come with me! And..." Hikaru paused, letting Kokoro to finish the sentence. "Let's make the world smile!"
"Exactly! But we also need to bring others too with us!" Hikaru said. "So let's go get some new friends!"
[Shuffle time! One shuffle will be done for each checkpoint: One for each Johto Daimyo, one more for reaching Sekiei Castle (Indigo Plateau) for the first time, one after becoming Shogun (Champion), and one more for Mt. Shirogane (Mt. Silver)]
(New team arrangement: (Unit 1: Scarlet Dawn - Hanamaru / Tsugumi / Riina) (Unit 2: Pop Smiles - Kasumi / Miku / Kokoro) (Unit 3: Azure Dusk - You / Frederica / Sayo) - Nao has been moved to Waiting Room)

[More recruitments and songs! I'll fast forward for this one!]
(Scarlet Sky (Normal) - Full Combo) / (Charles (Normal) - Full Combo) / (LOUDER (Normal) - Full Combo) / (Sparkling Dreaming ~Sing Girls~ (Normal) - Full Combo)
"We've got new crew members! Please introduce yourselves!" Hikaru, as usual when introducing new members in rapid succession.
First up is a blue-eyed brunette with a magenta-colored armor and a spear decorated with a ribbon. "The name's Sakuma Mayu... pleased to meet you, Hikaru-san... the fates must brought us together..." ...her creepily affectionate behavior still stays out for a while.
The blue-haired young woman with, of course, a blue-colored armor and a Naginata (a type of Japanese polearm, similar to the glaive) bowed elegantly. "Pleased to make your acquaintance and companion. My name is Kisaragi Chihaya. I might not look like who I truly am, but if you give me a chance, I will give my best, my lord."
The next one was another brunette - but with curly hair, a noticable forehead and... her red eyes are slanted as if she has a serious expression, even though she actually isn't. She wears a light purple armor and is holding a short sword. "I'm Seki Hiromi. I don't look as attractive as you can see, because it seems like I look angry... but... you don't think so? Well, count on me."
The last one has a very distinct orange hair - and the pink eyes, although some might confuse it for red. She sports an excited look. "Amazing! It's a miracle! ... Oh! Nice to meet you! I'm Takami Chika!" - Said girl, who wears a color-mixed orange-and-blue armor and a typical Japanese curved sword, found herself staring to someone who was familiar with her. "Oh hey You-chan!" She said, which was replied with, "Ohayousoro, Chika-chan!"
"Those two... they are somewhat of childhood friends in their relationship aren't they?" Hikaru spoke out. "Anyways, it is time to move on through! We need to cross through a path known as Route 32. To the southmost of it is the Linking Cave, and then Route 33, which is the east of the area of Hiwada Town."

On the way to Route 32, however... An ambush was set out just before the cave.
"None shall pass!" One of the soldiers pointed a spear into the group, this is presumably the small troop's commander. "You won't make it if you're weak!" Which gets a response from Hikaru. "...Okay."
A couple moments later during the battle, a scene erupts as a Lightning-element soldier stands against to Frederica, one of Hikaru's allies.
"Don't worry Hikaru-san, I can handle this." She said, as she quickly hitted the soldier with her war-fans like slapping. The soldier then infuses electricity into their spear, and then throws it at Frederica. It went straight for the head.
"Ngh! Ahaha... Sorry, Hikaru-san... It was fun while to be helping you... I must retreat..." Frederica, somewhat injured, steps backwards, retreating.
"No! How could I just let her get hurt? Even if she's not quite the type for combat..." Suddenly, one of the Warriors on Hikaru's side spoke. Specifically, it was the teal-haired archer, Sayo. She quickly let shot an arrow before said soldier could react, right into the head. One last enemy stands around, preparing to charge foward, but was hit by arrows before even reaching close enough, stumbling and limping onto the floor.
"I'm sorry... It's my fault... I should've got the medicines earlier..." Hikaru's eyes are filled with tears, looking at his wounded subordinate.
"Aww... it's okay! C'mon, cheer up! Things will get better soon!" Kokoro quickly snapped Hikaru out of it. He responded, "Yeah, hopefully..."

They later went back to a local infirmary that is somehow is located on Route 32, near the Linking Cave.
"I'm sorry, but Frederica-san isn't going to take in participation in any subsequent battles." Hikaru announced. "With this, we need to pick someone to take her place... And it is, from shared opinions... Mayu will take her place."
"But I thought Watanabe-san and I are both vulnerable against Lightning-element attacks? And Sakuma-san isn't any different." Sayo protested.
"The results were from the voluntary application... It seems like she said she wanted to be more closer to me?" Hikaru asked. "Anyways, moving on."

They would later march to enter the Linking Cave.
"So dark here. I will go ahead and make sure the area is clear. Sayo-san, secure the lead with me. The rest, follow up." Hikaru made out signals.
"Understood, Nakano-san." Sayo followed Hikaru towards the north, with the rest of the group behind them. They heard a noise from what seems to be from the hole with the ladder, deeper into the cave. Hikaru said out suddenly, "Actually, let me go check out beneath these ladders."
From below the ladders, Hikaru noticed something. Or rather... someone. "Why are you watching me? I know you are there, come out."
(Song: Wonderland Girl - Hard - Result: 406/461 max combo (~88%), Energy: 950/1000 (95%, due to 1 "Bad"), Roll to beat: 92, Rolled 36, Success!)
(Note: This is the first song I actually failed to Full Combo, and surprises me since I had Full Comboed two Expert level songs before this.)
The figure that hided and spied on Hikaru came out. It seems like... cyan hair and green eyes... Okay, this seems familiar for him.
"Huh? What are you doing h-" He paused, and noticed something was off with the young woman looking at him. She... somewhat looked interested. What's more, her green eyes are somewhat sharper, and her hair's bangs are swaying to the right (as far as Hikaru knows, Sayo's bangs are neatly parted, except for a single loose lock that points towards the left.
"...Oh darn it. I almost mistaken you for someone else." Hikaru slammed the palm of his right hand to his face, and then putted it out.
"Oh, no problem! I was just training here, but all of the opponents I found are boring to fight against." The girl said somewhat compassionately.
"Just who are you, and why are you so similar to Sayo-san?" Hikaru spoke out, interrogatively.
"Huh? You mean Onee-chan?" ("Onee-chan" is the Japanese word for "(Big) Sis(ter)", similar to how "Onii-chan" means "Big Bro(ther)".) "And my name is Hikawa Hina! Nice to meet you! ...Oh, this is boppin'~!
"Yeah, nice to meet you-" Suddenly, the sound of someone climbing downstairs can be heard. "Oh, that must be Sayo-san."
Sayo found out Hikaru, speaking to her... sister. Specifically, her own one and only twin sister. "Hina? How did the heck...? I thought i'd lost you."
"Onee-chan! It's great to see you again!" Hina excitedly glomped her own older twin sister, who responded, "Ow, don't tug so hard..."
"What, you two are sisters? Er, specifically, twin sisters? It actually makes sense..." Hikaru spoke out. "Can you explain?"
Sayo then quickly calmly spoke out, looking towards Hikaru. "I used to be quite close to my twin sister, Hina. But when I found out she was a natural prodigy that always gets on the top of me, I started to get jealous. I just wanted to run away of this, not knowing that it wouldn't be simply like that..."
Hina, on the other hand, said. "We got seperated, but I always still remember Onee-chan and until now I waited for her to come back!"
The young warlord somehow had sheds of his tears on his eyes. "A family reunion... for once and for all..."

(I want to end the chapter here, so to be continued in the next chapter! But... one thing. I wanted to also put a song to associate Hina with, but since we are reaching the end of the chapter, I'll just temporarily substitute the ending song for this chapter.)

I'd say this chapter is about a whirling and boppin' roller coaster of itself!
So anyways, this is pretty much the first causality I took, and will be still the first one amongst many more, but it seems my luck after that keeps making up for it! Oh, and also, the members who are permanently disabled for the rest of the Nuzlocke can still make appearance. This is what seperates this run~ from other Nuzlockes. Truly no such thing as "death"!
And anyways, the encounter for Union / Linking Cave was, yes, a Gible, that happens to be at the right time and exactly I just looked for. It clearly screams like a spot for one special member, so I was thinking several times what do I want to name it after. Later, after some tough decisions, i decided to name her after Hikawa Hina. First up, she's a natural genius, like she can and will always succeed on whatever she takes on! Second thing, it kinda makes a good plot for her twin sister, Sayo, for character development and backstory retconning.
But the most probably overlooked thing is that, the Togepi that I received (yes, the one named after Kokoro), is SHINY~! Well, i thought my eyes deceived me at first since considering Shiny Togepi doesn't look much different from the regular coloring.
Anyways, this chapter was probably fun for me to make, and yes, the first team shuffle has been made. There will be still more to go, so anyways, keep an eye on this!

By the way, Fun Trivia Fact: Wonderland Girl is also used as the opening song of Bermuda Triangle: Colorful Pastrale !
I won't be stating levels for the backup members because it gets kinda about frustating to state exactly, I played the nuzlocke much earlier than when I am writing this so I might forgot some things
Also, Character AMAs are still on standby! Except this time, you can also call out on any of the new characters: Kokoro, Mayu, Chihaya, Hiromi, Chika, and Hina! One more thing, I will be probably be posting updates too for the groupchat side story with the new members as well.
And one more thing: Artists are allowed and would be appreciated if they are willing to post fanart here! Just make sure to read through my Nuzlocke to find out how a character would be drawn for fanart, as well as the official artwork (except for Hikaru, who uses the base design of HGSS Protagonist as his base design.) To search for the official artwork of a character, type their full name and search it in Google or any search engine available

EDIT: I updated Compendium of Warriors Part 2 again! Silly me, why I always keep forgetting Takami Chika? Might also be a coincidence because sometimes people forget about her too, just like anyone else

Tsurumaki "Kokoron" Kokoro - The Angel / Princess of Smiles
An extremely happy-go-lucky, charismatic and idealistic girl born to an extremely rich family. Kokoro dreams of making the entire world smile with music. She is easily able to get attention of others with her charismatic and imposing personality. However, she's also quite scatterbrained and ditzy, and wouldn't be able to get much done without help from others. Due to being a rich girl, she is ignorant about certain normal things. Despite that, she is possibly a genius behind her seemingly ditzy nature as well as she is definitely acrobatic due to her sheer energy. Her signature phrases, includes "Happy! Lucky! Smile! Yay!" and "Make the world smile!". She joined the group in intention of bringing more others with the group and also make them smile! She also owns a personal hand cannon for self-defense. Her Soul Element is Fae (and later, hybrid Fae/Aer). (CV: Itou Miku, Birthday: August 8, Zodiac: Leo) (In-game Pokemon: (Shiny) Togepi -> Togetic -> Togekiss)
Stats: Health: ★★★★★ - Power: ★★★ - Armor: ★★★★★★ - Magic: ★★★★★★★★ - Resistance: ★★★★★★★★ - Speed: ★★★★★

Sakuma Mayu - The Fanatic Stalker
A former photography model who is somewhat easily interested and is possibly in love madly with her "master" - specifically for this case, Hikaru. She cannot bear out being rejected, notably as she will not let go of her "love interest" easily and will go crazy to try to get approval from him. And she claims she is always watching out for her "darling". She uses a spear with a ribbon tied on it. Her Soul Element is Aquan (possibly later Aquan/Frost). (CV: Makino Yui, Birthday: September 7, Zodiac: Virgo) (In-game Pokemon: Shellder -> Cloyster)
Stats: Health: ★★ - Power: ★★★★★★ - Armor: ★★★★★★★★★★ - Magic: ★★★★★ - Resistance: ★★ - Speed: ★★★★

Kisaragi Chihaya - The True Blue Diva
A talented youth with a quite serious personality, and is somewhat really passionate into her singing. She invokes a cool image, but this is mostly due to her having a difficulty to make decision on her emotions, and in addition to that, she is also a difficult person to socialize with, sometimes shutting herself away from people to practice singing and exercise. Despite that, Chihaya has a soft spot for others, especially for people that she cares the most for, even though she may never show it. She's also very sensitive about her chest depths. She is a mercenary working for Lord Hikaru in this fiction, and uses a Naginata (see the story in chapter). Her Soul Element is Aquan (and possibly later Aquan/Aer). (CV: Imai Asami, Birthday: February 25, Zodiac: Pisces) (In-game Pokemon: Magikarp -> Gyarados)
Stats: Health: ★★★★★★ - Power: ★★★★★★★★ - Armor: ★★★★★ - Magic: ★★★★ - Resistance: ★★★★★★ - Speed: ★★★★★

Seki Hiromi - The Beauty Under The Beast
A youth who is insecure of her capability and her physical looks, which is said that she looks angry - even when she was supposed to have a more relaxed face. She tries to get the better out of it, though. She also has a notable forehead. She is another mercenary for Hikaru, who uses a shortsword as a weapon of choice, and her Soul Element is... Venom. (CV: Aizawa Saya, Birthday: August 17, Zodiac: Leo) (In-game Pokemon: Ekans -> Arbok)
Stats: Health: ★★★★ - Power: ★★★★★★ - Armor: ★★★★ - Magic: ★★★★ - Resistance: ★★★★★ - Speed: ★★★★★★

Takami Chika - The Orange Sunshine
A girl who is just so energetic and somewhat stubborn. She's apparently wouldn't easily give up on anything that she is set on to achieving - to the very last point. She can be just quite of an airhead, but she is an absolute optimist to the end. Aside from that, she treasures friendships too, especially with childhood friends Watanabe You and Matsuura Kanan. She lives in a rural, coastal town, and is from an innkeeper family. Here, she is a somewhat defensive fighter. She does use a short katana, but she's capable of combining it with rapid punches. Her Soul Element is, as expected, Aquan. (Possibly Aquan/Vigor later) (CV: Inami Anju, Birthday: August 1, Zodiac: Leo) (In-game Pokemon: Poliwag -> Poliwhirl -> Poliwrath/Politoed[?])
Stats: Health: ★★★★★ - Power: ★★★★★ - Armor: ★★★★★★ - Magic: ★★★★★ - Resistance: ★★★★★★ - Speed: ★★★★

Hikawa Hina - The Prodigy Genius / The Supernova of Haneoka
A natural genius with an impeccable memory and tends to become skilled at anything she tries with bare effort - Hina is cheerful and carefree, however she usually doesn't quite understand other's feelings and is quite blunt at times, teasing others without even noticing it. But at other times she is, undoubtably, really honest. She however can easily get bored at her achievements, but is trying to find new and interesting things, that she thinks are "boppin'" and "zappin'" (two of her frequently used ideophones). She is the more brighter, younger twin sister of Hikawa Sayo, and seems to quite enjoy about it, and is supportive of her sister no matter what Sayo thinks of. She's also an elite mercenary who is somewhat of course really talented to say, wears a tough, flexible spiked armor, and uses not one but TWO katanas (albeit of the shorter variety so she can properly handle both), and also carries a bow (albeit shorter than her sister's, of course). Nonetheless, it is true to say she is blessed with the hybrid Soul Elements of Draconic and Terran. (CV : Ozawa Ari, Birthday: March 20, Zodiac: Pisces) (In-game Pokemon: Gible -> Gabite -> Garchomp)
Stats: Health: ★★★★★★ - Power: ★★★★★★★★★ - Armor: ★★★★★★ - Magic: ★★★★★ - Resistance: ★★★★★ - Speed: ★★★★★★★

Hi guys, bad news, i don't think i can continue this since i lost almost all interest to keep actually playing the Nuzlocke or writing this story further.
Especially when a particularly epidemic disease is everywhere in the world right now... I'm just really very sorry.
I'll discontinue this work and not start any nuzlocke variant runs like this anymore for now, but I'll keep the D&Dlocke i'm working on to continue. It has been like two months i wasn't able to work on any of them... especially when i was about to write an update for the D&Dlocke but all that hard work i tried to put is gone. I'm also not too very good at trying to write stories. It might be better to just do one run at a time.
But anyways. Thank you for all who somewhat enjoyed me writing it in the past. Specifically @trainergloria and @Abigail . Thank you very much.
May peace be rest assured over me.

I know it's hard to keep progressing and would be fun if i keep continuing this, but... you know, this nuzlocke variant has been already quite dead for quite a long while. I've searched it several times and there's no one else planning to do it publicly... so well, sometimes we have to move on. Thanks for the comment @Abigail
