We’re making some changes to the way points are calculated so smaller teams can reasonably take on teams twice their size and win. At the end of the month, the total end points will be divided by current team size, meaning all teams carry even power despite their size. Under this system if the same percentage of users from each team made the exact same submissions, the number at the end of the month would be the same.
It’s worth noting, this system would not have changed the results of the previous month, but it does even the playing field to make it so the largest team doesn’t win every time just with sheer numbers. Organized efforts have more of an impact, and diligent users can still see a noticeable impact on the end score for their effort.
