SYNOPSIS​

A horrible virus has been sweeping across the Pokémon regions, causing mortality rates to skyrocket in battles at an unsettling pace. Newly hatched pokemon are born weak or don't survive, raising alarm to the Council of Champions. Researchers from every region are desperate to find a reason for the virus and how to cure it.

Assistant Kerrin starts her journey in Sinnoh after leaving her home region of Hoenn to escape an agonizing past. However, tragedy only follows her when Team Galactic wipes out her team on a field mission. The massacre sends her into a depression spiral, and she swears off keeping Pokémon companions competitively for good.

When her father informs her that her sister, the Hoenn champion, has left the region to search for a cure to the virus with other members of the Council, she will have to take over the champion spot as her runner up. Terrified to step into such a role and paralyzed by her past, she runs away to Johto and sets off a chain of events that will lead her down a road she hoped she'd never have to walk again.

2. All Pokémon must be named
3. All pokemon that faint in battle are considered dead and must be released
4. No repels
