Aaaaand there's a gun. Suddenly the egg is my least concern.

May I repeat my previous statement about sautéing this Rocket dude if he hurts anybody?

Quite valid to be honest, I also would no longer be worrying much about the egg in this situation :'D

For some reason I imagine they don't quite get them legally.

I'm willing to bet those guns were not legally obtained.

I was about to question why the Pokemon world has guns when it occurred to me that given that the entire planet is populated with numerous wild animals that are more dangerous than a tank, why wouldn't the humans develop guns?

And now I wish I'd never asked myself the question to begin with.

And here's an important rule of gun safety: Never, ever, EVER point a gun at ANYTHING OR ANYONE you don't want to destroy, EVEN IF YOU DON'T INTEND TO ACTUALLY SHOOT IT. Even if you think it's not loaded (ALWAYS treat a gun as if it's loaded). There was a kid in my homeschool group that died from a gun accident, and while I never actually knew him, it's still worrying enough that gun safety is pretty important to me.

Granted, Proton does not strike me as a man who very much cares about the well-being of his underlings.
