A married couple Nuzlocking together!
Hello, and thank you for checking this out! I'm David, my wife's Ali, and we recently finished Nuzlocking Pokemon White together - so we figured the next logical step was to do White Version 2! Last time around we developed quite a plot and had a main character with a lot of personality, so we're looking to do that again this time. I think we're off to a great start!
Here are our rules:
1. Standard death rule. If a Pokemon is knocked out, it's dead, and we probably yell about it for a bit.
2. Every pokemon needs a nickname, we need something to shout when the death happens.
3. Only one catch per named area, but if someone wants to just GIVE us a pokemon, that's fine.
4. Legendaries: we'll figure out what to do if we get to one? It'll only be a legal catch if it's the first thing we encounter in the area, of course.
5. What do we do if we wipe? I don't know, we'll have to figure it out if that happens! Maybe that'll be the end of the run, maybe we'll continue with the boxed Pokemon!
Content warning: Lots of cursing, some violence, pokemon deaths... basically anything you could expect to come up between two adults shouting about a game together.
So, without further ado, here's our first episode, in which we pick our starter and begin to figure out what makes our protagonist tick:
