"I Want Candy" Singer Aaron Carter as died at age 34.

ngl, I was legitimately shocked when I heard on Twitter. Actually, I'm still shocked remembering it. My older sister had such a crush on him when we were children, so I was quite familiar with him. Man... 😟

I guess it happened well over month ago but still.
Jason David Frank, popular actor, martial artist and MMA fighter died on 19th November. Cause of death was suicide, a sad result of years of dealing with depression.
Small PSA here - Mental health is a damn serious business that can affect everyone. Remember to take care of yourself and people nearby that can be struggling with life, please.

Pele, undeniably the GOAT of football/soccer, has passed at age 82 after a long battle against cancer. Let me tell you, I don't know anything about the sport...but even I heard Pele's name. He invented a lot of the fancy technical moves that soccer players do today, bicycle kicks, etc.

So...rest in peace, Pele.

R.I.P. Earl Boen. An acclaimed voice actor best known for his narration in the multiple World of Warcraft Games, Sergei Gurlukovich in Metal Gear Solid 2, and of course...LeChuck in the Monkey Island video games.

I remembered Earl Boen as the criminal psychologist from the first three Terminator films. He, along with Arnold, held the distinction of being the only other actor to appear in those three movies. Rest in Peace, Dr. Silberman.

Jeremiah Green, drummer of Modest Mouse, died of cancer on December 31st 2022. I feel like a jerk for not finding out sooner. Rest in peace. I'll be rocking to Long Drive all week.

Sesame Street co-creator Lloyd Morrisett has passed at age 93.

Three deaths that I wanna talk about.

The first is regarding character actress Annie Wersching. She's probably most famous for originating the role of Tess in The Last of Us or as Renee Walker in 24, but I knew her as Emma Whitmore in Timeless and as Kelly Nieman in Castle. She passed away yesterday after a two year battle with cancer, and she leaves behind three children. I really wanted to see her in more shows and I wish her family the best.

The other two deaths I found out about, like, ten minutes ago, and they just hit me like a truck. James Phyrillas (aka Schaffrillas) got into a car crash with his brother Patrick Phyrillas and his best friend Chris Schaffer. Patrick and Chris both passed away, and James is OK but still in the hospital.

Schaffrillas created some of my favorite videos on Youtube, and I can't imagine what the torment of surviving something that killed your brother and best friend would feel like. I wish James a fast and healthy recovery, and I hope that Patrick and Chris rest in peace.

Abelardo Gutiérrez, most comonly known as "Tongo" passed away at 65 years due to renal insufficiency.

He was a very popular peruvian singer, who went viral on youtube after making parody covers of popular songs; mixing english rock with peruvian cumbia and chica. May he rest in peace, he will never be forgotten.

You might know him from The Wire, the John Wick series, the Destiny series, the Horizon series, all 3 successful Law & Orders...

Or my particular favorite role, his time as The Captain in the Castlevania anime, AKA probably the only reason Isaac didn't destroy all of humanity.

Comedy legend Barry Humphries has passed away at the age of 89. Dame Edna Everage, Barry McKenzie, Sir Les Patterson and Sandy Stone will dearly miss him.
