Welcome to Among Usfia electric boogaloo, the version that takes place after some people leave but we can still try playing.

Special thanks to Norhian Samur for letting me riff off his game. It's a good layout! And thanks to Kesha for helping me balance this edition.

Not sure how to play mafia? Check out this handy FAQ!

Section 1: How to play the game
1. At the start of the game, every player will receive a role PM telling them what their role is, and mafia members will be told who the other mafia members are.
2. The game will consist of alternating night and day phases, starting at Night One. Night phases last 24 hours, and day phases last 48 hours.
3. During the night, players can send night actions by responding to their role PM with their action. In addition to night actions listed in each role description, the mafia can collectively choose one player to kill every night.
4. During the day, all living players can discuss in the thread to determine their next course of action. Anyone can post "Vote: PlayerName" to cast a vote to lynch that player. At the end of the day, if more than 50% of the living players are voting for the same player, that player will be lynched.
5. When voting for who to kill at night, the mafia member that actually performs the night kill is decided by the mafia. This is done by having the visitor of their choice include that they will be the visitor in their night action PM. If none do so, the last mafia member to vote will visit.
6. When a player dies, their role will be revealed in the thread.
7. The village wins when all mafia members are dead. The mafia wins when the number of mafia members is equal to half of the living players. All third parties have unique win conditions explained in their role description.

Section 2: What not to do
8. If you have a night action, and you don't post or send any actions for three consecutive phases, you will be inactive killed. If you don't have a night action, you'll be inactive killed after missing two consecutive day phases. Players killed by inactivity do not win, even if their win condition is met.
9. Don't do metagaming. That's when you use info like "Oh, that guy is using the PM system shortly after the night began! He must have some sort of night action!" Metagaming has many forms, so if you think something might be metagaming, check with the host first.
10. Play for your side. If your actions are obviously aiming to sabotage your team's chances of winning, that is bad. If you think something might count as playing against your side, ask the host if it is.
11. Don't post in the thread at night.
12. Don't post anything that could influence the game after you're dead. This also applies if you aren't in the game at all.
13. Don't copy and paste or screencap anything sent to you by the host or other players as a form of evidence. This is to make your information not super easy to confirm.

Also see the Mafia Code of Conduct here: https://nuzlockeforums.com/forum/index.php?threads/nuzlocke-forums-mafia-community-code-of-conduct.19483/

Just like in the previous version, this game will randomly choose which power roles are assigned village or mafia. Two of the roles will be village-aligned and the other two will be mafia.

Red
You're the lookout hanging in cargo bay, checking where people are coming and going, possibly chasing them in circles. Yet some might be suspicious of the amount of time you spend near the trash chute.

If Village: Each night you can visit and learn the alignment of another player in the game. (Cop)
If Mafia: Each time the night kill is performed, you may decide if you'd like to clean up the body and prevent the killed player's role from being revealed in public (while you still learn the role in private). This action requires a succesful visit. You may perform this action once in the game. (Janitor)

Green
You're the guy always tagging along next to somebody, afraid of being alone. Sadly your fellow crewmate can't tell whether you're just merely looking out for them, or marinating.

If Village: Each night you can visit and protect another player for the night and following day from being killed. While you're protecting them, the player cannot use any actions. This does not prevent the lynch. (Nurse, 1 night + 1 day)
If Mafia: Each night you can visit and stop another player from performing any actions for that night and the following day. (Hooker, 1 night + 1 day)

Yellow
You're the trigger happy guy who wants to eject at any opporunity. You're pretty convincing, too. Apparently you can just say you saw someone vent and everyone believes you!

If Village: You have a single gun you can choose to fire during the night phase. (1-shot Vigilante)
If Mafia: Once during the game, you may choose to have your night kill pierce any protection effects. (Strongman)

Blue
You're the savvy navigator of the ship, and know where the blind spots and the best murder spots are, and thus to avoid them (or perhaps use them).

If Village: You have a single bulletproof vest. You have no night actions, but you will be told if you are bulletproof. (Bulletproof)
If Mafia: Each night, you may choose a player and track them. If the player targets another player, you will be notified. (Evil Tracker)

Role TL;DR
Red - Cop or Janitor
Green - Nurse(+day) or Hooker(+day)
Yellow - 1-shot Vig or Strongman
Blue - Bulletproof or Evil Tracker

Sign-up (expecting 7-10)
1. Cirr - Red (Cop) Killed N1
2. KirbySSU
3. 0 Anonymous - Yellow (Strongman)
4. SweatingCalendar - (Villager) Killed N3
5. LHarm - (Villager) Killed N2

6. VGBM - Green (Hooker)
7. Pluslefan - Blue (Bulletproof) Lynched D3
8. Hydrochlorinate
9. Alolan Floatzel - (Villager) Lynched D1

Mafia wins!

The night settles on the ship... or can it be night when everyone is in space? The sun's just hanging there I guess...

Anyway, roles have been sent. If you did not receive any message, you are an ordinary villager. Day begins 9pm EST tomorrow. Good luck!

Alarms buzz on the ship, but it wasn't the morning bell, it was the alert of a body!

Dead: Cirr - Red (Cop)

Everyone is huddled around the discussion table. Who could've done such a thing to our stalwart observer?

Day ends 2/16 at 9pm EST. Good luck!

Oh damn, that's a pretty key loss immediately. Guess there's no point in trying to start a claim since we only have 1 village pr and they already know who they are. We're just going to have to do this the old fashioned way.

Ooof thats a rough start

Sunce the claiming is off the table...what do we have left to talk about ._.

EDIT: We could vig claim and have that person shoot someone if we have one on our side

Oof is right!

Let's see, now there are only 3 possible setups, depending on which of the remaining colors is village. We've got Nurse Strongman Tracker, Hooker Vig Tracker, or Hooker Strongman Bp.

If we have the Nurse, the odds are not in our favor cause the tracker can potentially find out who they're protecting and the strong man could go through their protection if they predict right. It goes without saying that the nurse should not claim under any circumstances.

If we got Vig, either Hooker could hook them or Tracker could discover them if they get lucky. Vig claiming makes no sense, since if the mafia knows who vig is they'll become immediately useless, even if we did have a target for them to shoot and didn't lynch them first for some reason.

Then if Bp… I don't know. Hooker would become useless, and Strongman unless they can somehow find the Bp without wasting a nightkill on them. That would be the most neutral setup ig

Yeah, I don't know what to do with this. What do we talk about now?

Man, just like in among us, I'm unable to bring any discussion to the table.

Tremendous oof, though.

cirr dies n1 once again, rip

yeah there's no value in tryna talk about pr claims so we gotta scumhunt for the rest of the game i think. in terms of the three posts above me: hydro's post reads newbie village, vgbm's is indicative of being helpful, and calendar's and plusle's posts read pretty neutral. plusle specifically i have a hard time deciding whether coming right out the gate saying "well there goes the claim strategy" is scummy or not scummy. thoughts?

There’s not much we can do with no Cop in this setup. Anyways, I think the most logical thing to do is read between the lines of the Mafia’s posts. I’m saying we wait till near the end of the day to take a gamble while lynching based on what people have said. We can’t really cheese any of the Mafia roles. Unless there is a strategy you can think of? Anyways, yes Floatzel I agree with you.
